Barry, having a mid-life crisis, is craving a more dangerous fast life.

Howard's bicycle develops an annoying, loud squeak when Pearl is around.

Glenda and Barry decide to attend the Firm's dance in formal dress. Howard is worried that Pearl no longer loves him. Billy is being stalked by a Robin Hood fan.

Howard planned a picnic and has "stored" Marina at Norman's, but will not pick her up because the lady's morning coffee group is being hosted by Pearl and he is afraid to leave the house.

Pearl makes Howard jealous. Wesley attempts to enter the mobile catering trade.

Wesley convinces Smiler to test his latest invention, leading to the usual outcome. Howard and Marina have their usual bicycle disaster, perpetrated by Billy and involving Clegg and Truly. Barry attempts Yoga.

Howard is trying to escape from Pearl, who is keeping him busy with home repair. Barry wants a gift for Glenda so Auntie Wainwright sells him a large chaise longue. Marina if fed-up with Howard.

Billy is working toward being the best tracker in the area, using animal droppings. Tom is evading a bill collector. Howard is stuck on the roof. Barry has challenged a coworker to a quarterstaff duel. Truly, Norman and Billy tell Tom fibs about tricks that his father could perform on his bicycle.

Billy is stuck entertaining his morose brother-in-law. Howard talks Barry into giving Marina a ride. Glenda follows Barry and attacks Marina. Auntie Wainwright intends to cheat a farmer by selling him an inflatable boat as a portable feeding trough.

The men try to build a reputation for their new friend, Kevin, as 'The Wise Man Of The Woods'.
