Foggy decides to become a one-man rescue and assistance service, but his efforts don't quite produce the intended result.

Foggy takes it into his head that the Trio must help Ivy's image of Sid and convince Wesley to use him in his latest experiment ... But when Ivy gives her opinion Compo steps in for the price of a flash of Nora's garters - and she has a special surprise for him as well.

Foggy convinces Clegg and Compo that starting a dog-walking business will be no work at all since they are already going on daily walks ... But it turns out to be more of a workout than anyone imagined

Deciding they need a bicycle each, the trio venture to old friend Dirk's (né Percy) shop, hoping for a bargain. Meanwhile, the café has been redecorated and is set for a grand re-opening.

Compo dons a loud blazer and schemes to get his picture taken in Nora Batty's bedroom. When Wally buys a wardrobe at auction, the friends decide that it's the perfect way to smuggle Compo into One of the Last Few Places Unexplored by Man.

Against his will, Clegg has been sold a metal detector. Foggy decides to show Clegg how valuable a piece of equipment it is, while Compo struggles with a new pair of jeans.

Compo buys Sid's wetsuit and, supervised by Foggy, tries his hand at scuba diving and water-skiing.

Sid & Wally have to deal with their wives alone when Foggy books a seaside Christmas get away for himself, Compo, & Clegg ... But it's Compo who's properly dressed for the occasion
