Koos is having a difficult time finding work and finances in the Dobbelsteen household are getting a bit tight. Wiep gets a part-time job modeling swimwear and insists on taking Dr. John out to expensive restaurant 'La Cloche'.

Mien tricks Koos into help cleaning Lydie's mother's house on the eve of her return from Canada. When grandma does arrive, she does so carrying the wrong suitcase, which is filled to the brim with sexy underwear.

Upset because one of her neighbours died and nobody noticed, Mien insists that Lydie's mother gets an alarm installation installed (by Koos). Jopie has a new job for Koos: fixing up rowboats.

Wiep objects when John wants to buy a red MG. Hans thinks Lydie has to say no to taking on too many new activities. Mien is posing for Wiep. An old flame of Hans becomes his colleague at the hospital.

Mien gets to know Neighbor Buys a little better because of some wrongly delivered letters. She also misunderstands Dr. John's relationship to a patient and invites Koos over for lunch at the Doctor's for a big surprise.

Lydie and John have both noticed that drugs are missing from the medicine cabinet. The police advises to install an alarm and to keep this a secret from as many people as possible. Mien is burning with curiosity when Koos is asked to install the device and she's not allowed to know what it is.

Wiep is upset when suspicions about the medicine theft turns towards her. Mien is helping neighbor Buys with his washing and solving cryptograms.

Koos has framed Miep's portrait (painted by Wiep) and even Neighbor Buys is invited to come take a look at it. Lydie becomes concerned when her mother doesn't answer the phone.

Jopie & Annie surprise Koos & Mien with a weekend away. As Mien had just made a large pot of soup for the entire weekend, she gives it to Lydie and Hans. But they are also going away so the pot keeps changing hands...

Hans purposely breaks an ugly vase that Mien and Koos brought back from Athens. But when Lydie pretends to be heartbroken in front of Mien, Koos has to glue the pieces back together again.

Koos sells a boat to an old acquaintance of Lydie, Jan-Willem. But when the boat is put to water Koos is delayed and Mien gets in trouble.

Wieps birthday is approaching fast and both Lydie & Hans and Dr. John buy her an etching press without the other party's knowledge. However, the transport service is only able to deliver one at a time.

Koos sits down to write his first ever cover letter when he learns there's a job opening in a warehouse. Hans & Lydie go shopping armed with long lists from several different people.

Lydie and Hans are too tired to go to a party in a castle and come up with a couple of excuses. Koos doesn't want to accept a proposal for a cover letter written by Buurman Buys.

Buys talks Koos into doing community service on a Greenpeace ship. Koos as carpenter and Buys as Russian translator. Lydie has moved a diner date, meaning Hans has to give up his golf lesson.

Mien is afraid for Koos's life when he volunteers to go into action for Greenpeace. Wiep and John argue about her taking in a house-guest.

Koos is stuck on the couch with his leg in a cast. Wiep and Lydie attend and auction. Everybody is still looking to find a place to stay for Felix.

Mien is preparing a large lamb-chop for dinner but can't find anyone who'll lend her a saw to cut it's leg off.

When Hans receives a painting from a grateful patient, Wiep is immediately convinced it is an actual Jongkind.

Hans removes the cast from Koos' leg and causes an accident on the golf course. Mien asks Buys to write a speech for Jopie & Annie's upcoming wedding.
