Someone has messed with Bamse's bridal veil, making it dirty. And someone has put hot cocoa on Kylling's towel. It's wash day!

Bamse is at the beach and have found himself a nice sand spot. He takes a walk to find pine cones, but when he comes back his spot is now occupied by a girl named Viola.

Bamse visits Viola. They play 'Three Billy Goats Gruff'. Viola wants to go home with Bamse but his house is secret. Bamse is not so sure it's a good idea.

Bamse and Kylling are going to visit Viola. Kylling doesn't know how to dress up or how to act as as guest so Bamse helps his friend. All three read a story in the Wishing Book about how Bamse meet another Bamse at the beach.

Aske and Bamse play a tracking game, and now Kylling also wants to join.

Bamse and Kylling have been reading in the Wishing Book. It is time for Kylling to go home but it has become dark. Kylling dare not go home alone, so Bamse tags along. On their way they meet a ghost. Fortunately, it is just Luna who is dressed up with angel wings.

Bamse asks Kylling to play a game where Bamse is the older brother and Kylling a baby chicken. Reluctantly, Kylling agrees to play. Bamse reads a story in the Wishing Book about a baby Bamse and a grown-up Bamse.

Bamse wakes up one morning and has red spots all over - he has rubella. Viola takes care of him but then Kylling gets jealous and also wants to be taken care of.

Bamse and Kylling release Aske's 'fish' into the lake. But the fish is really just a sponge, and then Aske shows up.

Bamse is looking forward to meet Aske and Luna in the forest where they will roast apples. But then Aske and Luna begin arguing about how the apples should be roasted. Bamse get upset and walks away but then he remembers something which might make Aske and Luna friends again.

Aske is building a suspension bridge and Bamse wants to help him. But Aske would rather just finish it himself. Bamse and Kylling can try it later when it's all finished. Not being allowed to join the fun Bamse and Kylling decide to build their own bridge instead.
