An inspector of Health contracts an actor in order that he is made pass for a patient and records all the deficiencies that he finds in the hospital. But the chance wants that during his stay, he suffers a real ailment.

A bride suffers from appendicitis on her wedding day. They decide to give her permission to go to the ceremony, to which she arrives in an ambulance. She and her husband end up spending their wedding night at the hospital. Medicine is missing from the hospital pharmacy and Elisa is the one one who has the keys, so Ferreira automatically assumes that she took them, putting Santiago in a difficult position. A storm concerns the devices of a private clinic and the patients are moved to the Central, which will have to adopt emergency measures and enable all the possible corners to face to the patients' avalanche.

While Cecilia waits for the definitive authorization of Yolanda's adoption starts feeling badly. After surrendering to some tests she finds out that she can have a cerebral tumor and, convinced by Elisa, decides to remain entered.

Cecilia must undergo a complicated operation to remove the cerebral tumor. She realizes that things could take a turn for the worse, and decides to make her will favoring Yolanda, and nominates Elisa an administrator of her estate. Rusti waits impatiently for the results of his nursery-assistant exam. Leonor's friend is in Madrid, staying in the flat that she shares with Esther.

Paula deals with a man who enters worried because he does not stop hearing the voice of his wife giving him orders. According to him, she died one year ago after suffering an aggressive treatment against the disease that she was suffering, and now she orders him to kill a doctor. Javier is going to make a party for inaugurate his new house and Leonor, who hasn't been invited and didn't know that Javier had left his parents's house, knows about it for Rusti and feels disgusted. Mario and Diana achieve that a boy recovers the sight after having drunk from a drink a liter of rum and Coca-Cola. But, to a little time, several of his companions enter afflicted by alcoholic intoxication.

A ballerina enters with a sprained ankle, but her on the night she will dance before the Royal Family, but her family wants to extract it immediately; when the hospital refuses, they bring in a quack to solve the problem. Teresa begins to suspect that Vilches and Andrea are together, and Esther and Leonor have problems of conviviality because Leonor sleeps with Javier almost every day and doesn't help with the chores. Santiago must choose a substitute for Cecilia and has two candidates: Ferreira's niece Marta; and the son of friends of his and Elisa's.

A woman joins the hospital after insisting that her husband is trying to poison her. This one manages to convince them that he suffers a mental illness, but when they remain to alone, introduces poison in the food.

A man comes to the hospital to be tested for diabetes, but they discover that he has AIDS antibodies. When they tell him, he looks for the best time to tell his wife, because they have been trying to have a son.

Santiago convinces Paula in order that she returns to be a neurosurgeon. During an operation, she realizes that it is not qualified and confesses that, a few years ago, one of her patients died in the operating table.

During a photographic session, a model falls on a mirror and destroys her face. There is no aesthetic surgeon at Central who can help her, so they summon Joaquín Sotomayor, Javier's father. Joaquín agrees on the condition that his son and Leonor help him during the intervention. The operation is a success and Joaquín offers to employ Javier and Leonor with him at the private clinic. Javier refuses, but Leonor believes that she should think it over.
