The foreman of Jef is spotted in his car at the height of a rendez-vous hotel while his wife thought he was the at a flower show with the Parks Department. In exchange for light work, Jef will confirm the lie, but not a hair on his head thought that the wife of the foreman would actually come pay him a visit ... Meanwhile Victor discovers on a mathematical way, the so-called V-curve, that Paulien is the ideal girlfriend for him. Now he just has to convince her ...

Lukas has mixed feelings about a visit from his smart, cocky cousin Brent, a biology student. Indeed the knave bets he can 'do' Pauline in 8 hours, and counters every effort from Lukas to dissuade her. Jeanne believes her ma's favorite Chinese vase, she is guarding for a while, is valuable. Beacuse she insists on new locks just to secure it, Odilon ends up wrecking Jef's motorbike but Jeanne forbids Jef to demand compensation. Hvaing heard from mate Tuur it's worth under 100 Euro, he comes up with a devious plot.

Lucas is happy when fellow soccer-fan Jef exaggerates a foot injury so they can watch the tournament together, but when the rightly mistrusting city supervisor orders a physician to check up, Jef must resort to painfully desperate means. New neighbor Raf sweetly brings by his dog, a bothersome barker according to Victor, to be minded. Thus the girls find out he's a TV director and rival with dirty tricks when invited to host TV chef Piet Huysentruyt.

Naive Paulien starts a fund raising campaign for illegal refugees by offering people chores done by students. None is naive enough to volunteer, until Jill hears hunky neighbor Raf is interested as client. When Jeanne hears he may even get his TV station's news to report, it's her turn to plan taking over deviously. Jef's mate Werner invites him to a cards club, but Jeanne would see trough that's like an excuse to drink and gamble twice a week. So Jef pretends it's an AA chapter, but that lie soon goes out of control.

Standing by Jef, who is fed up with bossy Jeanne forbidding him to have a drink with mates, Lucas advises him not to give in after being sent to the dog house, rather pretend he move out to mate Lucien, while in fact hiding in Lucas's own room. Jill pretends Bert is her ex to keep up lies to avoid having to help him move, but the fake cask she gave thus convinced Pauline hurts them both.

There is a flu epidemic in the fishing club and half the members were already affected. Jef is in the clouds because as all good fishermen are sick, he can definitely not miss this year's cup. But the last days Jeanne feels exactly like a widow. She puts her veto and Jef obliged to stay home. He is in all states but fortunately, Paulien acts as a mediator and comes on a great idea. She suggests Jeanne to go fishing so that she can spend some quality time with her husband. Jef shudders at the thought but can not do anything else but agree. And so Jeanne consults Odilon...
