The Healers are perplexed by the disappearance of the Ashleys from their farm.

Maggie and Adam must deal with a crazed nightclub bouncer whose confrontation with a footballer results in a brawl.

Adam finds his pending HIV status a stumbling block with the Mount Thomas community. Elsewhere, Mount Thomas's first bank robbery causes confusion for the Heelers and the suspect turns out to be someone they wouldn't normally suspect.

An old friend of Tom's who betrayed his trust returns to make amends. The ex-con's return to town moves PJ and Rose to reopen his case.

Deranged father Michael Fielding abducts his young daughter from school and tells Adam in a phone call that she is being abused by her step-father Ian Rasheed. Meanwhile, Adam anxiously awaits his HIV test results.

A boy at a local school has severely assaulted one of his classmates. After questioning at the station, the boy is cautioned and sent home. The next morning, the police are called to a tragic case of domestic violence.

A traffic blitz in Mt. Thomas causes headaches for Tom and the rest of the Blue Heelers when Nick's friend is killed in an accident. Meanwhile, PJ is kept busy investigating a drug theft from the local vet.

Maggie's gun goes missing, and there could be dire consequences if it is not found quickly. Nick shepherds Inspector Faulkner's young nephew who is on a work experience placement at the station.

PJ and Rose investigate a clever lawyer for crimes against a Chinese restaurant owner and his family. Tom warns Nick about getting involved with Sasha Peters, his friend's widow.

An old friend of Tom's is brutally attacked, but charging the offender becomes more complicated than he bargains for after learning the suspect is in Witness Protection.

Job placements are on the line when the Mt Thomas station undergoes an internal efficiency audit. Nick applies for the Watchhouse Keepers job.

The arrival of two backpackers in town leads to a murder investigation for the Heelers. One of the backpackers complicates Wayne's life when a romance blossoms.

When a plane goes down in dense bushland near Mt. Thomas, the Heelers are involved in a search and rescue operation, discovering a politician dragging a dead girl from the wreckage.

When a bikie gang arrives in Mt Thomas, Holly McLeod, an ex-bikie, prefers the company of the gang to caring for her two children. Maggie becomes determined to remove the children from their mother.

Nick has the chance to run the station during Tom's absence, but his job is made more complicated by the discovery of an unidentified body in Mt. Thomas which brings Nick's old Homicide Squad rivals to town.

The Heelers investigate the Hughes brothers & their involvement in an inter state payroll robbery. Meanwhile, Wayne & Maggie look into the disappearance of Inspector Faulkner's niece Kim & find her living with her teacher Ben.

The Heelers investigate the alleged rape of Sandy Fielding with Maggie as lead investigator which gives her a new insight into detective work.

Both Nick and Wayne's private lives are infringing on their work. Nick has to arrest the brother of his lover, Sasha, and Wayne is accused of bashing the husband of a woman he had brief fling with.

Tom's daughter Susan arrives home from university and tells Tom that she is thinking of dropping out of university. Meanwhile, Nick investigates a local business which has been vandalised.

Wayne is thrown into the world of guns when a local gun shop is robbed and Tom is held at gunpoint in his office.

After a five-year old girl goes missing the Heelers come under the ferocious glare of the media - both local and international.

When officers from Internal Investigations arrive in town en masse to probe allegations of corruption among the Heelers, tempers fray. The day goes from bad to worse when a trio of prisoners escape while being transported.

Tom Croydon is shot at the Imperial Hotel. The mood of paranoia among the Heelers intensifies as they set out to capture the prison escapees and avenge Tom's shooting.

A routine robbery investigation becomes somewhat complicated when Aboriginal artifacts are involved. The Heelers adopt a kid-gloves approach but run into a fair amount of trouble just the same.

An old high school friend visits Tom after Maggie wins concert tickets in a radio contest, but soon comes under suspicion in a robbery investigation. Is there a link between the robbery and the return of Tom's old school friend?

Tom is up for promotion against Monica Draper. Wayne's friends try to cheer him up after he is served with divorce papers by Roz. Tom asks out Chris to fend off the advances of an admirer.

The Blue Heelers are embroiled in a bovine saga when a farmer's prize bull is shot dead. Meanwhile on the personal front, Adam realises that Chris, despite their night together, is not remotely interested in him.

The lives of Wayne and Nick tragically collide when Nick befriends a young graffiti artist and Wayne helps a mate. Maggie and Wayne prepare for the senior-constable exam.

The Blue Heelers investigate a drug theft at the local hospital.

Joe Kenny has been given early release from prison and the Heelers prepare for more trouble. Wayne becomes involved with Kenny's wife and is soon accused of sexual harassment. Tom prepares for a visit from Acting Inspector Monica Draper.

After the Kenny brothers rough-up Wayne, he has to fight to save both his career and reputation when Joe's wife charges him with sexual harassment.

Gold fever overcomes the citizens of Mt Thomas with potentially tragic consequences for one family.

PJ is a key witness in a case concerning a death threat made by a campaign worker of local Member of Parliament George Tobias against an election rival.

When the police investigate the murder of a Vietnam veteran found stabbed to death in his hospital bed, they focus their investigations on a schizophrenic man obsessed with knives.

Members of a nearby commune are suspects in a string of burglaries. Much to his dismay, Tom's daughter is among their members.

PJ and Maggie witness a bank robbery, but PJ is suspended after a large amount of the stolen money is found in his house. Maggie enlists the help of an old ally to get to the truth, clear PJ's name, and prove that he was setup.

When Chris' niece runs away, abuse is suspected. PJ's suspicions about the local priest are confirmed when he is named by the boyfriend of the young girl's mother.

Melbourne Cup day hardly brings Mt. Thomas to a standstill when a series of burglaries rock the town.

Wayne restores an old motorcycle in Sal's garage, and soon discovers the bike's true value. Things take an unexpected turn when a blood alcohol sample goes missing, forcing Wayne to choose between loyalty to a friend and his career.

At Tom's annual police Christmas party, all goes well until an intoxicated Nick announces his and Sasha's engagement. After the party, Maggie and PJ encounter their friend and fellow party-goer Gina Belfanti after she has been raped.

The Mt Thomas police are still trying to find Gina's rapist, and after Adam's brother is cleared, the next suspect is a man who works for Chris at The Imperial.
