Resident clock maker Steve Fletcher tackles a pocket watch that has come all the way from Holland and which spent four years in a Second World War Japanese internment camp undetected while secretly sewn in to the hem of a dress. Metal worker Dominic Chinea and master cooper Alastair Simms get an ancient butter churn turning, and churning, once again. And leather expert Suzie Fletcher lovingly restores a trunk made by Louis Vuitton and which is showing the signs of the years it spent travelling the world with owner Tom's great grandfather.

Damaged treasures are brought back to life by some of the country's best craftspeople. Brenton West is tasked with repairing and restoring an old seaside telescope. Will Kirk is given the job of restoring an old walking stick with a monkey's head while Lucia Scalisi is tasked with repairing and restoring a damaged 19th century portrait.

This week Stephen Kember and Will Kirk repair a distressed old Swiss chalet music box, Richard Talman repairs a damaged Garnet bracelet and Kirsten Ramsay deals with a damaged miniature globe.

Upholsterer Sonnaz Nooranvary takes on a real labour of love, a battered but beloved arts and crafts armchair that holds treasured memories of owner Michelle's grandfather. Brother and sister team, clockmaker Steve Fletcher and saddle maker Suzie Fletcher, turn their hand to restoring a World War One era military riding crop for a family with a proud military tradition and ceramics conservator Kirsten Ramsay tackles one her toughest assignments yet, a damaged ornate Hungarian vase, with a complex design and intricate decoration that will need all need all Kirsten's ...

Lucia Scalisi brings a 1930s portrait of Japanese martial arts master Yukio Tani back to life, Sonnaz Nooranvary rebuilds a Victorian nursery chair and Kirsten Ramsay and Steven Fletcher reconstruct an ornate porcelain clock.

Resident horologist Steve Fletcher and ceramics restorer Kirsten Ramsay turn their skills to fixing an Art Deco lamp in the shape of a naked lady, who is suffering from a broken ankle after an unfortunate accident. Meanwhile, Matthew Nickels is tasked with the repairing of a late Victorian stained glass window that's looking a bit sorry for itself. Will Kirk sets about the repair and restoration of an old Merchant Seaman's sea chest which he tackles with some assistance from rope-worker Des Pawson.

Jay Blades and the team bring three treasured family heirlooms back to life. Soft toy restorers Amanda Middleditch and Julie Tatchell work their magic on an old threadbare (or Fred Bear) teddy called Fred. Woodwork expert Will Kirk repairs an old murder box which used to hold everything necessary for the Newcastle upon Tyne to set up an office to investigate a dastardly crime. Embroidery expert Sara Dennis repairs the shabrack (horse's saddle cloth) that the owner's father used to use in the Household Cavalry. Pete Woods repairs the trumpet that the owner's dad used ...

This time Steve Fletcher repairs an old smoke stained clock, Will Kirk and Rachael South repair a baby's cot with damaged wickerwork and Brenton West repairs an old, broken powder compact with some help from the "bear ladies".

Suzie gets the job of repairing a WWII flying jacket from the grandson of a WWII Fleet Air Arm crew member. Kirsten gets an ornate Meissen clock to repair which she does with help from Steve Fletcher to deal with the clock mechanism. George Blackman gets the job of repairing an old Underwood 5 typewriter which was used to type out the memoirs of Queen Victoria's godson.

Today Will Kirk and Suzie Fletcher get a much loved rocking horse to repair and restore. Kirsten Ramsay has a set of three Royal Doulton plaques, one of which was broken in a house move and Brenton West gets an old stereoscopic viewer to sort out.

Leather expert Suzie Fletcher, alongside upholsterer Sonnaz Nooranvary, restore a badly damaged suspended chair from the 1960s, known as a 'leaf chair'. A gift from his grandmother, the owner is keen to hang it in his flat and relive his childhood memories of happy times. Its distinctive shape and design prove to be quite the challenge for Suzie and Sonnaz but with a little ingenuity and team work, the two restore the chair beautifully. Ceramics conservator Kirsten Ramsay takes on a very rare Royal Doulton figurine of a First World War soldier, once owned by the last master pottery thrower of the Doulton factory. Now the pride and joy of his grandson, the soldier has been through the wars - a fall several years ago knocked off his head. But before Kirsten can start her repair she must undo a previous fix, allegedly done with glue made from egg white. The team repair an old military chest, needing new brass hinges and chains. A white "hornsea" studio pottery vase from the 1950s which had a big piece broken from it, and also a big crack. Also an antique cane chair which needs a full re-upholstering.
