It leaves its mark: After finishing therapy, Valérie is set for a new start, but her optimism is tested when she learns that Simon has split up with Josiane. Madeleine wants to know how her daughter's job search is going and approaches Valérie's father. Éric and Kevin need to choose an egg donor.

I only hurried things along: Valérie invites Josiane for a weekend in the country: she wants to know if she's the cause of her separation from Simon. Madeleine and Stéphane's planned programme is a flop, but Stéphane refuses to admit it. Simon has to answer questions about faithfulness from his daughters.

It's like choosing between four beige sweaters: Valérie has to choose between four jobs. Éric is very proud of the video he's made to find an egg donor but it's actually quite terrible. While undergoing a life crisis at a book fair, Madeleine lectures her daughter on her bland, unambitious life.

Is that where we're heading? After years of frosty relations, Madeleine's near-senile father reappears. Éric and Kevin still haven't told Valérie that her eggs can't be used by the fertility clinic because of her age. They start looking for a younger donor.

As clear as mud: Madeleine has to take her father for a medical appointment and bullies Gilles into driving them. Kevin is worried that Valérie has changed her mind about the baby. During an impromptu family meeting, they realise that no one really knows where she is.

The windows don't open on our floor: Valérie has carefully set her personal boundaries but her good intentions are soon abandoned the moment she starts her new job. Éric and Kevin organise a little get together to celebrate her return to work.

Seize the day:Valérie tells Gilles that the new job is already over. While recording a programme, Madeleine gets depressed about life, helped by a few bottles of wine. Simon pressurises Josiane to sign the house sale papers.

Is that it? Madeleine fears a relapse, seeing that Valérie is almost a vegetable again. Éric thinks Kevin may be hiding something while Kevin finds Éric's jealousy irritating.

This is your life: Valérie and Simon's relationship is developing nicely when an old friend of Valérie's comes crashing into their lives. Madeleine's sister arrives to help look after their father, bringing with her some unfinished business. After the initial surprise reunion, Valérie is concerned about her friend's behaviour.

You can't inseminate a woman in... After her argument with Madeleine, Valérie takes refuge at Éric and Kevin's place. Simon and Josiane prepare to sign the divorce papers at the lawyer's office when the lawyer unintentionally reignites their feelings for one another. After being in a hurry to have a child, Kevin now has doubts.

I almost checked your pulse: Everyone tries to convince Valérie and Madeleine to patch things up. As Simon doesn't look like someone newly divorced, his brothers decide to help him through these testing times, whether he wants help or not. As Madeleine receives a series of bad news, Valérie discovers something which upsets her plans.

I have high expectations: Valérie takes a major decision without telling anyone. Madeleine is depressed, which worries Lucie. Until the reading of their father's will. Simon wants to go back over his last conversation with Valérie, but events take an expected turn.

Sackcloth and ashes: Valérie is certain she made the right choice but her behaviour tells another story. Josiane is now on Tinder while Simon is on... the defensive. While being weaned off antidepressants, Madeleine isn't feeling well and her thoughts are echoed by Valérie.
