Maxim heads over to her sister Élizabeth's new company so that they can both go to Quebec to help their mother. In Laurence's studio, the team is disturbed by the arrival of a new boss.

Nikki has returned to Montreal after her time in Chicago, and moves back into her flat. Maxim has to handle her first political scandal as an advisor. Laurence explains her new professional vision to her friends.

As Éloi and his innumerable projects take up more space in Nikki's life, Maxim meets one of Le Caféline's clients. But she remains very much on her guard, she hasn't had a man in her life since her misadventure with Clément.

Maxim, Élizabeth and Jean-Simon set off to Quebec for Richard's birthday. They quickly realise that they're actually there for very different reasons.

Laurence doesn't much appreciate having to keep her love affair with her boss a secret. Nikki goes off the rails during a social event.

A rather complicated piece of news darkens the skies of Maxim and Jonathan's honeymoon period. With her company in serious financial difficulties, a business development advisor offers Élizabeth valuable help.

Elizabeth tries to understand what she is going through and decides to consult a sex therapist. Maxim, for his part, comes across Jonathan's ex, who seems disturbed by his presence in his old house.

Laurence is at her mother's bedside again. Nikki seeks refuge with Maxim. She welcomes both her friend and her sister and tries to help them think things through.

Unable to live a lie, Élizabeth reveals her secret to Jean-Simon. Maxim has to explain to Jonathan about the decisions she's made about her life and her need for independence. Laurence makes her peace with her mother.

Following a tragic event, Laurence manages to get her life under control again. Nikki is going through a major upheaval. Élizabeth, Jean-Simon and Jeanne try to find an arrangement that meets everyone's needs.
