Naomi's (Fiona Scott) pursuit of physical perfection leads her to consider getting cosmetic surgery. In the meantime, Ash (Erika Thormahlen) freaks out about a budding pimple on the eve of the school picture day.

Jermaine (Shedrack Anderson III) gets a job at a hip record shop and is immediately smitten by his beautiful co-worker, Kim (guest star Kandyce McClure), who can dance, spin and is downright cool. Unfortunately, she has a boyfriend. In the mean time, Dylan's (Brian T. Skala) parents invite Ashley's (Erika Thormahlen) mother over for the first time with disastrous results.

Dylan's (Brian T. Skala) faith inspires Ashley (Erika Thormahlen) to explore her own, but when Dylan asks his teammates to join him in a prayer, his future with the team is jeopardized. Meanwhile, Naomi (Fiona Scott) asks Hunter (David Paetkau) on a date. Shedrack Anderson III also stars.

Ashley's (Erika Thormahlen) artwork is being exhibited at a local gallery, but her excitement is interrupted by the surprise arrival of her old boy friend. Dylan (Brian T. Skala) becomes jealous and fears he may lose Ashley to her old flame. Meanwhile, Jermaine (Shedrack Anderson III) may have to move to Washington, D.C. when his mother gets a job in the Bush administration.

Ashley (Erika Thormahlen) sees her mother (Alison Matthews) on a date. If that's not bad enough, it's with Ashley's art teacher (guest star Woody Jeffreys). Meanwhile, Kim's (Kandyce McClure) boyfriend (guest star P.J. Prinsloo) asks Jermaine (Shedrack Anderson III) to help him mix a CD for her birthday. Brian T. Skala also stars.

Jermaine (Shedrack Anderson III) has trouble adjusting to living with his new family. Meanwhile, as Ashley (Erika Thormahlen) and Dylan Brian T. Skala) study together for midterms, his grades improve while hers plummet.

Stranded away from home on a biking trip, Dylan (Brian T. Skala), Ashley (Erika Thormahlen), Jermaine (Shedrack Anderson III) and Kim (Kandyce McClure) spend the night in a motel room, alone.

For a video project for school, Naomi asks her friends to help her research a tragic local urban legend. Whereupon, each of the friends tells a different version of the story.

As a twist to Take Your Daughter to Work Day, Ashley (Erika Thormahlen) accompanies Dylan's (Brian T. Skala) mother (Eileen Pedde) to the hospital while Naomi (Fiona Scott) accompanies Ashley's mother (Alison Matthews) to the newspaper. Meanwhile, at school, the Dylan and Jermaine (Shedrack Anderson III) spend the day finding out what it takes to be a real man.

Just as Kim (Kandyce McClure) breaks up with her boyfriend (guest star P.J. Prinsloo), Jermaine (Shedrack Anderson III) accuses him of stealing CDs and reselling them at the record store. Meanwhile, Dylan's (Brian T. Skala) peculiar behavior leads his parent to suspect that he's on drugs. Erika Thormahlen also stars.

Naomi (Fiona Scott) asks Ashley (Erika Thormahlen) to be the "victim" in her self-defense documentary, and Ashley must rearrange her entire day to accommodate Dylan's (Brian T. Skala) schedule. During the film shoot, Jermaine (Shedrack Anderson III) asks Naomi to flirt with him to make Kim (Kandyce McClure) jealous.

Ashley (Erika Thormahlen) and Dylan's (Brian T. Skala) relationship is jeopardized when she is forced to choose between a camping trip with Dylan's family or a summer art program in San Francisco. Meanwhile, against his parent's wishes, Mike Jr. (Will Sanderson) wants his high school graduation party to have the traditional celebratory mainstay: beer.

Just as Ashley (Erika Thormahlen) and Dylan's (Brian T. Skala) romance takes flight, it stalls from their anxieties about the next step. On Naomi's (Fiona Scott) advice, Ashley asks Dylan out to dinner. Things couldn't go worse. Shedrack Anderson III also stars.
