In front of the backdrop of the Zappeion in Athens, supermodel Heidi Klum welcomes her candidates personally for the start of the 17th GNTM and surprises them directly with the first test: a fashion show in front of a live audience.

After the debut in Athens, the candidates move to the Greek dream island Mykonos. Here, the first photo shoot, a windy walk and guest judge Yu Tsai with a critical eye.

The poster shoot for the nationwide campaign is coming up. In addition, the ten best models will be featured in the opener. But first they have to learn an elaborate choreography.

In a video shoot, the models are catapulted from a car into the air at the push of a button. In the decision walk, model Jasmin Sanders takes her seat next to Heidi Klum as a guest juror.

Who can convince the customers in Athens at the casting marathon and get the most jobs. In the decision walk, the models in lingerie fashion are to convince with their femininity.

The big makeover is coming up and Heidi Klum has come up with new looks for the Top Model contenders. At the decision walk, the GNTM models present themselves in front of Heidi Klum and former GNTM contestant Sarina Nowak.

In the social media edition, each model has to promote a crazy product in a video shoot. Then the models face a real interview situation. The candidates contest the decision walk as aliens.

The photo shoot calls for courage and expressiveness. Three models each are styled as a plush figure attached at a height of ten meters and pose for a bet. The walk: the models walk out of a giant mouth as living tongues in red dresses.

In L.A., the Top Model candidates embark on a real casting marathon and try to land one of the coveted jobs. Who will succeed against the competition.

In the shoot, the models can shine twice. The candidates embody the hand of an XXL watch and have to score with challenging poses.

Top 10: But those who want to make it into the Top 10 still have to overcome a few hurdles, including a demanding shoot with the strict photographer Yu Tsai.

This week, acting talent is in demand. The shooting partner is Hollywood star Brigitte Nielsen. Who is spontaneous and can thus collect plus points for the subsequent decision walk.

At the shoot, the models in elegant dresses play a tennis match. Thomas Hayo supports this week as a guest judge.

At the cover shoot for Harper's Bazaar, every pose, every look and every movement has to be just right. Each GNTM candidate has to prove why she belongs on the cover. Ava Max and Kerstin Schneider support the decision as guest judges.

The shoot once again demands everything from the semi-finalists. During the subsequent walk, Heidi Klum and her guest judge Leni Klum face a difficult decision: Which models have convinced them and thus move into the grand finale.
