At the start of the 16th season of GNTM, Heidi Klum surprised her up-and-coming models in the German fashion capital with a glamorous fashion show. At her side: French designer Manfred Thierry Mugler.

The contestants move into the model loft in Berlin. At the big GNTM campaign shoot, the girls meet star photographer Rankin. He is also a guest judge this week, as is designer Marina Hoermanseder.

At the shoot the Top Model contenders transform into mystical ballet dancers, demonstrating their body awareness and agility.

At the photo shoot, they not only have to pose confidently alongside several dogs, but also keep their balance on roller skates. Another challenge this week: instead of a nude shoot, there will be a nude walk.

Heidi has come up with a new look for the Top Model contenders: Bangs or pixie cut? Blond bob or dark curls? The GNTM models present themselves in a new look in front of Heidi Klum and designer Christian Cowan at the decision walk.

One of the most important photo shoots of the entire season is coming up: the "sedcard-shoot". In front of Christian Anwander's camera, it will be revealed which Top Model aspirant confidently embodies her new look.

Video shoot in 80s style, an interview training with Christian Düren and a walk with inflatable outfits: This time it will be shrill, emotional and holds some surprises for the models.

The top model contenders stand in front of the camera in a giant, rotating cube. Before they confidently walk down the catwalk, they have to present a dance performance on high heels during the decision walk.

Some models have to face their biggest fear: Height. But that's not the only challenge that causes long faces: The GNTM contestants also have to rate themselves and establish a ranking.

At the "Späti-video" shoot, the GNTM models prove their acting talent. Comedian and guest judge Otto Waalkes plays the trusting "Späti" owner as a side-kick. At the catwalk, it's time to immerse yourself in Berlin's nightlife.

Surrounded by fog and wind, the GNTM models pose in an abandoned ruin in front of colorfully painted wooden walls. They are photographed by Kristian Schuller, who is known for his artistic stagings.

To make it easier for the Top Model candidates to get started in the real modeling world, Thomas Hayo will be coaching them this week as well.

Who will elegantly showcase their body? At the nude shoot, Heidi Klum expects creativity, body awareness, changeability and a concentrated load of self-confidence from the top model candidates.

There are a few castings coming up for the Top Model contenders. Which GNTM models will be able to convince the customers and conquer the catwalks? The crowning finale this week will be a special fashion show.

In a set of pure ice, the Top Model contenders pose at the photo shoot alongside male models. During the decision walk, the GNTM models float onto the catwalk as angels and then perform with dancers from the show "Magic Mike Live".

The cover shoot for Harper's Bazaar is coming up. Here, every pose, every look and every movement of the GNTM models must be just right. When the decision is made, the top model contenders give a personal speech about their GNTM journey.

The Top Model contenders face their final challenge in the 16th season of GNTM. Today they become superheroes, shoot a live music video with Tokio Hotel and stand on stage with singer Zoe Wees. But in the end, a GNTM model steals the show.
