Money and Mill Cottage seems to be the current important issues. Danny has pressure to throw a birthday party and trouble with his salary. Both Alan and Steph manages to pull one over each other money and job wise. Viv gets some important deliveries.

Mill Cottage and certainly the cruise may very well be the most time consuming stories in this episode. It's Ollie's birthday today and she expects Danny to throw a party for her. Have he got something planned? Steph makes herself pretty unpopular at work. Viv is also a very unpopular at the moment, with both the villagers and her own family. Scott continues to fight for his rights and the Mill Cottage area gets Eric's wide attention.

Another Mill Cottage and cruise centered episode. Betty and Nicola try to get Laurel to stand up for herself and not take any more crap. Donna doesn't even want to go in the first place whilst Bob refuses to go on the cruise unless Viv makes amends with Laurel which would most likely mean giving something up. After buying some of the Mill Cottage land, Eric continues his treasure hunt but Rodney and Danny have something to tell him. This episode concentrates mainly on Scott's, Chloe's and Syd's troubles. As if Scott's world wasn't already complicated enough at the moment, his life gets even more nasty, this time involving Yolanda. Charity and Chris get into another spousal dispute about Charity's time spending with Debbie.

This episode is mainly about Chris and the arresting of Scott. The gap between Chris and Charity is just getting wider and Chris is even preparing to go away for a few days for an appointment but with Terry instead of with his own wife. The police is in Emmerdale again to investigate the rape allegations made by Yolanda against Scott the day before and the thought that maybe he should get a lawyer becomes relevant. Also, Ollie and Robert finally get their school reports.

This episode is mainly about Chris' and Terry's trip out of village, the arresting of Scott and the ongoing Charity-Debbie-Cain saga. While out on their trip, Chris reveals to Terry what the holiday is really about and it proves to be much more serious than anyone would have thought. The news on the arrest reaches Zoe, and Scott, released on bail, wants a word with her about a conspiracy theory he have thought out during his grim days in custody.

A dark day for the Tates in this episode. Chris has a CT-scan and it doesn't look good, but it's not over yet. Scott confronts Yolanda. Zoe desperately tries to re-open her case against Scott. And finally, Charity and Cain get very friendly.

Zoe decides to see Yolanda after having another nasty altercation with Scott. Charity nearly runs Dawn over with her car while on her way to continue where she left off with Cain. Sam finally takes his driving test. Also, Andy and Katie are about to lose their only source of income.

Zoe meets Yolanda and her fear gets more nutrition. Charity and Cain are finding it even harder to conceal their affair. Andy gets another letter from his biological father, Billy.

Chris gets back from the hospital and it seems like the rape allegations against Scott comes to a conclusion. It becomes evident that Sam most likely is onto Charity and Cain. Katie gets her awaited exam results and scores an important deal when at school to pick it up.

We find out that Yolanda stuck to her deal and dropped her allegation against Scott as he gets the official word from the police. Charity and Cain are extremely clumsy in keeping the liaison a secret, for how much longer can they possibly conceal it? Louise reluctantly - by continued insistence from Diane - asks Keith out for a date. Also, Chris gets the results on the state of his brain tumor.

Charity makes Louise back up her story about where they were last night. Eric lends out the land he recently bought from Rodney, to the latter's great annoyance.

Lisa, Debbie and Belle get home from Whitby and Lisa seems very suspicious of Charity and Cain and they almost get caught together later at the stables by a surveyor. Chloe almost has Syd take back his statement from the police, but he finds out about her dishonesty.

The fair is leaving and Rodney considers joining them. The Sugdens, Elaine and Diane prepares for the Marsden's upcoming party

Rodney is in a happy mood today and gambles on a horse, using Seth as a bookie of course. Chris realizes that he probably doesn't have as much time left as he thought when he feels cramps in his arm when trying to enjoy a day out with Joseph. Ashley, Louise and Laurel continue to prepare for tomorrow's speed dating. Shadrach comes back to the Dingles but will he be able to persuade Lisa to let him back in?

A very dismayed Lisa has noticed what Charity and Cain are up to and an unhappy Edna has noticed all the noise coming from Pear Tree Cottage lately, which she brings to Terry's attention and he later finds Charity on her way there and he gets suspicious. Ashley, Louise and Laurel finally goes on the speed dating that they have been talking so much about lately, and joins the Marsden's 1970s theme party afterwards. At the party, Robert and Elaine "get to know each other better".

Terry starts to believe the same way Chris do about Charity's meetings. Cain puts a plan into motion to break up Chris and Charity, using his daughter who is due back to Home Farm tomorrow. Ashley doesn't remember what happened after he got drunk at the party last night so he tries to find out, fearing that he maybe behaved "unappropriate" towards/with Laurel. Robert tells Elaine that he broke up with Donna when he was on the phone with her, so that he can continue his hobby that he took up yesterday - cheating on girlfriend. Also, Len tells Ollie how he really feels ...

Terry finds Charity's lost necklace at Pear Tree Cottage and feels certain that she and Cain are having an affair but he struggles to decide whether he should tell Chris, Dawn advises him not to. Robert casually tells his father that he's not going back to school.

This is kind of a special episode with a very small cast. It also seems to continue where they left off in the episode before. In the aftermath of the revelation about the affair, a devastated Chris prepares to shoot his wife. Terry tries to convince Chris once again to take medication so that he can prolong his life long enough to sort out his life the right way. Charity wants to break up with Cain but he of course isn't keen on that at all.

Someone has made a bid at Victoria Cottage and whilst Alan is happy about it, Marlon is not. It gets nasty at the Woolpack between Cain and Chris. Len unintentionally upsets Edna again. Also, an unpleasant man comes looking for absent Bob.

Chris meets solicitor Rachel again to try to see to it that he leaves Charity penniless. Edna isn't angry at Len anymore but tells him though that they can't be more than friends. Eddie continues to try to sell off double-glazings but he makes an enemy through his sales-techniques. Also, Steph tries to impress Eric but discredits Lisa at the same time... Is she after her job perhaps?

Chris starts to spend more money in a bid to empty his and Charity's joint account. Bob and Donna comes back from their holiday without Viv who got bitten by a mosquito and now is in quarantine. Bob is delighted to see his brother Eddie who apparently has won the "Salesman of the Year" award seven times, but Bob doesn't know that things aren't going too well with his half-estranged bro anymore and that he might even get the sack. Donna is delighted to see Robert, unaware of what has been going on while she was away...

Chris continues his spending-spree with buying a helicopter and he and Charity agree to do a "fresh start", although they mean different things. Debbie and Ali get into a fight when the latter brings up the subject about her mom's prostitution history. Donna, upset about Robert dumping her in the episode before, goes over to Elaine for comfort, almost bumping into Robert who was in the Marsden house when she got over there. Ronnie, who is quick to catch on about what's going on, warns Elaine that if he has cheated on one girlfriend... he'll cheat on another. Also, ...

Chris reveals to Charity what he really meant with a "fresh start" yesterday but not before she had signed some mysterious parcel for him that got delivered to the house and which Chris later secretly put into a safe, not even letting Terry know about it. Rodney wants to settle his differences with Eric and somehow include him in his new money strategy that he started on yesterday. Steph continues to impress Eric with her handling of customers, this time, she handles an upset Mr. Dodds for him. Diane hires Syd and Paul to work on the new kitchen-to-come. Although ...

Zoe comes home from her holiday in New York, gets informed about Charity's infidelity and voluntarily agrees to talk to Chris again although she's still angry at him about what he did to Scott. Rodney (and Danny) go to an auction to try to buy Gately Mill but Rodney starts to bid money he doesn't even have - on the estate, and Nicola becomes unpleased (to put it mildly) when she later finds out about her father's business adventure. Also, Eddie offers Dawn to help her out at the café.

Chris asks Zoe not to tell anyone about his brain-tumor which he told her about in the episode before - only to Ashley if she has to. Cain finds out that Chris have chucked out Charity and he helps her a bit to spend some credit card cash of Charity's, including several bottles of champagne and they end up in each other's arms again. Rodney desperately tries to raise money for the deposit and in the end comes to a loan agreement with some shady guy called Dave. Eddie forges another signature - this time he forges Edna's.

Chris tells Zoe to her relief that he has spoken to a consultant about getting treatment for his condition. Charity discovers she can't pay the hotel bill since Chris has emptied their accounts. At the end of the day, Charity resorts to begging Chloe if she can crash at her place. Rodney finally manages to raise cash for the deposit - after selling his car! Steph agrees to make dinner for Eric and his business associates and keep them company tomorrow but she claims she's got nothing to wear so he bankrolls her to buy something nice but she puts the money (£200) in ...

Chloe tells Charity that although she can stay a few nights, it's gonna cost her! Charity makes her way up to Home Farm again and this time Chris finally gives her her car key, along with some clothes but after she have left, he calls the police to register that she (supposedly) threatened him. When he is at the Woolpack later on, he falls out with Cain again but this time the latter is drunk and threatens to kill the former. Steph makes sure that Eric's client won't come to the dinner so that they can be alone when she tries to get out information from Eric on what ...

Chris invites Charity over to Home Farm for tomorrow's evening to pick up more of her stuff and talk over something to drink. The drink part might seem irrelevant but it actually isn't as we later see when Chris with latex gloves empties white powder (from his parcel) into a glass. Charity is hoping that they can fix their marriage but unbeknownst to her... he is clearly plotting out a revenge. After finding out in the episode before about where Eric fits into Rodney's business adventure, Steph uses her knowledge to start a money scheme with Eric and convinces him to ...

Chris, Terry, Zoe and Jean have visited Joseph at the boarding school and are now back at Ashley's. Chris wants Zoe to promise him that she'll safeguard Joseph's birthright regardless of what will happen, which she do. A destitute (but naively optimistic) Charity borrows all the money that Debbie has on her bank account - to fix her hair for the pending meeting at Home Farm - saying that she will give it back when she have sorted everything out with Chris. Chris also prepares for the meeting and takes out the glass with the white powder in it out from the safe. Cain ...

In the wake of Chris' death, various law enforcement people, including forensics, starts to uncover how he died and Charity becomes a main suspect. In the meantime the news about his death spreads into the pub where they have a theme night but the punters can't come up with a single good thing to remember him by. Scott is thrilled that he is dead after what Chris put him through and doesn't hesitate to speak ill of the dead. Diane says that nothing will be the same without Chris, good or bad, and they toast to that but in that moment, Scott just walks out from the pub...

DI Keysell informs the other officers at his precinct that they are going to treat Chris Tate's death as a murder investigation although he doesn't rule out the possibility of Chris committing suicide. Charity calls round the Dingles to look for Debbie but finds out from Marlon that she and Cain didn't come home last night. Keysell and Pugh wants to interview Charity further and asks her to come down to the station again. While Charity is having another exhausting session at the Hotten precinct, her sport car is towed away. Keysell puts out a search on Cain Dingle. ...

Zoe, along with Ashley, have now told Joseph about the death of his father Chris and he apparently took the news remarkably well but he doesn't know that step-mother Charity is suspected of killing him. Ashley worries that Zoe maybe is falling back into her schizophrenic state again. Lisa have come home from "grannie" Clegg and becomes worried that Steph is taking over her position at the factory. When she later comes home from work she sees a familiar face in the house. Charity discovers where Cain and their daughter Debbie have been staying most of the time after ...

During another interrogation but with a defense lawyer present this time - after her arrest in the episode before - Charity finds out from the detectives that poison was found in her car. She continues to try to persuade them that Chris must've framed her but it of course sounds a bit far-fetched. Then she goes on to tell them about when Chris tried to frame Scott and that he admitted it to Zoe but when DI Keysell and DS Pugh asks Zoe about it, she denies any knowledge of the frame-up. The detectives find out that Cain's fingerprints are in the office at Home Farm and...

Eric tells Rodney that the planning permission didn't go through and the latter becomes devastated of course. Eric tries to assure Rodney that he really tried his best. Will Rodney find out about Eric's and Steph's scheme? PC Littler informs Keysell that it was Charity's password that the buyer logged on with when ordering the poison. Despite Lisa's pleas, Marlon decides to tell the police about Cain since he thinks Charity is covering for him and that he killed Chris. The public is advised on national TV to call if they know where Cain and Debbie are. Pugh and Keysell finds out that Cain stayed at Chastity's place. It becomes apparent that Marlon and Charity's background is more complicated than just cousins growing up together and their association with each other comes to a dangerous new height! Dave and his loansharking posse wants their money back and Rodney gets to tomorrow to scrape up money or he'll meet ex-bouncer Donny! Eric offers Rodney to buy the mill for £800 000 but he rejects the offer and gets the right suspicion on...

Marlon heavily regrets sleeping with cousin Charity. Lisa and Chastity gives him a hard time for not coming home last night. Loanshark Dave comes to the village again to collect his first repayment but Rodney avoids him all day. At last Mr. McGee leaves but he says that he will come back the next day. Rodney figures out that Eric and Steph were scheming against him together and so decides to get revenge through calling Gloria. Ollie have gotten accepted into Manchester University and tells granddad Len and Danny but when her boyfriend suggests that he will come with ...

Gloria comes to the village after being called by Rodney previously and he fills her in on what has been going on while she was away in a hope of getting a planning permission in return of his silence about Eric's corruptness, which would especially damage Gloria's career. Although Eric gets a hard time from Gloria about both his shady dealings and Steph, things aren't exactly working out to Rodney's advantage after all. This episode continues on the same day as the episode before. The news of the car crash spreads through the village and the Marsden's are soon gathered at the hospital. Ronnie attacks Robert, convinced that it's his fault that his daughter is in ICU. It's suspected that Elaine might have a skull fracture after leakage of spinal fluid is detected, so she is taken for a CAT-scan. Andy tries to persuade Robert to come clean about the accident but he won't hear it and lies to the police later when questioned about what happened. Louise have arranged to go out with Guy ...

It's a new day and Rodney have been up celebrating his newly gained richness all night. But not everybody are feeling as great though. Ollie is leaving the village for university and has a teary goodbye with Danny, both uncertain if they are making the right choices. Lisa finds out that Sam signed a double-glazing agreement which they probably don't even afford so she tears it up after asking Eddie nicely to see it. Bob notices Edna's name on one of his brother's papers so now Eddie will have to cross his thumbs that his talkative brother doesn't mention anything to ...

Eddie sells his ring (which had belonged to his granddad) in order to get some money. He also considers selling his car to raise more cash. Bob spots something is wrong when he overhears his brother on the phone, asking for more time to deliver £ 3 000 but Eddie lies to him and says that he wants to buy shares of the company that he works for so Bob lends him money that is put away for Donna's upcoming eighteenth birthday, confident that his brother will manage to pay it back. Also, Jack warns Andy that the farm might get sold to a new owner.

Ashley and Louise can't help but noticing that people have confused their friendship with romance so they decide to intentionally wind them up further. Laurel is, not surprisingly, getting more depressed about their relationship. Eddie tries to leave the village in his new crappy car but after it doesn't get going, he breaks down in front of Bob. Charity sees if she can live at the Dingle house. Also, Robert undramatically helps himself to a drink at Café Hope when the counter is unattended.

Ashley tells Laurel, to her relief, that there's nothing going on between him and Louise. Charity have apparently been allowed by Lisa to stay at the Dingle's. She gets told by Pugh and Keysell that Cain and Debbie have been found and now she's afraid that the detectives will hear another story of what happened the day that Chris died. Alan have problems getting Victoria's cottage sold. Paul & Siobhan and Chloe & Syd have decided to go on vacation in Amsterdam. Bob calls a village meeting at the pub to tell the attending about what Eddie did and try to persuade them ...

Cain is finally brought in for questioning and plays cool for a long time but when he finds out that Charity incriminated him in Chris' and even Angie's deaths, he simply states back that she killed Chris. A desperate Alan offers Victoria's Cottage to Paul and Siobhan (who are back from the Netherlands although they were leaving in the episode before) for £5 000 below the asking price. Also, Eddie and Garry have a showdown.

Cain admits to the police that he indeed took the money from Home Farm but the detectives still let him go and even considers dropping the theft charges if he confirms what he just said later in court. Meanwhile, Charity continues trying to escape from the village with Debbie but she needs money so she blackmails Louise even though they were supposed to be even now. She also loans Lisa's van without asking, saying to Debbie that they will dump it somewhere later on. Viv finally comes home after weeks in quarantine and after hearing that Donna was dumped by Robert, ...

Cain and Marlon severely come to blows about Charity. Cain later tells Lisa about his involvement in Angie's death last year. Charity is having a bail hearing at 13:30. Ashley and Zoe fall out after he tries to persuade her into talking to the police about Chris framing Scott a few months back. Eddie and Bob comes clean about Donna's birthday fund. Andy and Katie arrange to buy a car from Robert for a cheap price. Ronnie have gotten the car insurance forms and wants Robert to go through the accident once more since Elaine still can't remember everything that happened....

Zoe moves back into Home Farm and makes funeral arrangements for her departed brother. Lisa tells Cain that she have claimed to the police that he were with her the night that Angie and the other cop died. Andy and Katie takes Robert's junky car out for a test drive but Andy becomes disappointed of his brother when he finds out that he is selling it off to them for £ 100 more than he payed for it. DS Pugh informs Cain that they have decided to drop the investigation about Angie's and the other police officer's deaths that happened last year and he's got Lisa to thank for that. Eddie gets into trouble at the café. Scott tells Viv about his arrangement with Zoe, concerning Jean. While Andy visits his father in prison to find out if the kid is really his brother, Katie babysits Darren at the farm. Many of the villagers get upset by an article about the Dingle-Tate feud and it doesn't take long until the Dingles realize that Shadrach sold information to the press and they call for a family trial. Bryan Dodds wants to move his friendship with Lisa over to something more intimate and have taken the liberty to book a table in a Hotten restaurant but she wants to eat at the Woolpack instead so he succumbs to her wishes. It's Monday but also Paul's birthday and he changes his mind about the abortion after a serious talk with Frances but Siobhan plans to go through with it nevertheless. Andy, Katie and Daz are invited over to the Sugdens for a meal but Daz and Victoria doesn't hit it off. Zoe continues with the funeral arrangements, asks Terry to deliver the eulogy and Ashley to read the religious stuff. She wants it to be big and wants to try to get a horse-drawn hearse for the event. It becomes apparent that Eddie fancies Lisa but he's got competition from Bryan Dodds but after Lisa ...

Zoe goes through Chris' will with Rachel, his solicitor, and she's informed that - except for the cottage called Connelton View which goes to Terry - everything valuable will be inherited by either Joseph or Zoe. It's also implicated later in the episode that Chris' funeral or wake will be held tomorrow. It's a new day and Zoe is holding a wake for her deceased brother. Surprisingly, it went pretty well and undramatic, despite that some of the village gossipers were amongst the attendants. Zoe and the guests even reminisce over some funny memories. We find out that Siobhan went through with the abortion yesterday after all, despite what she told Paul, and she now plans to fake a miscarriage. Eddie and Lisa agrees to not get heavily involved with each other and instead just be friends and occasional hump buddies so to speak but as we avid TV-watchers know... it almost ...

It's the day after yesterday and time for Chris' funeral. Just when Terry delivers the eulogy, Charity walks in, handcuffed to a police officer. Charity declares her innocence and claims out loud to the other attendants that Chris took his own life. It becomes too much for Zoe however and she storms out. Outside the church, Cain celebrates with a few bears. He soon gets joined by Zak who have happened to return from Chile, on the day of Chris' funeral of all of days! Cain informs his old man on what's been going on in his absence, including the revelation about Debbie...

Zoe has Charity on her mind rather than the two men who just broke into her house and she wants to go and shoot her but Zak manages to talk her around with a speech about him not killing Chris when Butch died, thanks to Lisa and the prospect of a likely jail sentence, and that his family - including Charity - are precious to him and just like with Butch, he would want to revenge Charity. Zoe gives Zak a ride to the graveyard where the funeral is continuing. Lisa is very angry at him because she hasn't received any letters or anything from him the last weeks and she ...

It's a new day. With Zak home now, Lisa and Eddie ends their thing they had going on but they can't keep their (now past) romantic relationship a secret. After plenty of mouth fighting, Zak tells her that she isn't the only one who've cheated. After a long rowing, Zak leaves the house again. After a long labor (28 hours according to Viv), Dawn finally gives birth to a baby boy. They will probably do hearing tests on the child tomorrow to see if it is deaf or not. Terry and Bob becomes terrified that Dawn might die as the former notices that she is suddenly laying ...

Zak apparently slept in the Dingle barn over night. Later at the pub, Rodney offers him to stay at his place until his permanent living arrangements are sorted, whenever that'll be. His and Lisa's bickering just continues and he even joins Rodney in some lady socialization. Lisa sees this and resumes her relationship with Eddie. Dawn and Terry gets a hearing test performed on their baby. Scott somehow manages to persuade Zoe to lower the rent for the car garage. Also, Darren's mother, Denise, is apparently to pick him up tomorrow, to Andy's great relief.

It's the day after yesterday. Zak and Rodney comes home in a taxi early in the day after partying at a night club in Leeds (how Zak got in, considering his clothes among other "details", I'm not sure). Rodney discovers that he could sell South American artifacts with Zak's help, using the contacts that Zak made in Chile. They make a deal that Zak will help Rodney connection-wise for 20% of the future (potential) sales. "Rodders" (as he is commonly called in the village) already makes flying arrangements for next week and will be taking Danny with him. Zak spots the ...

Terry is taken away to hospital in an ambulance. We later find out that it was an ischemic stroke he suffered so he has lost movement on the right side of his body. Dawn has to make a hard decision on whether to have medication - which is undergoing medical trials - used on Terry or not. Pearl tells Len why she rejected him earlier today. Apparently she wants a long-term relationship but she's aware that she probably have given people (including Len) the impression that she's a player. Also, Elaine keeps insisting to see Robert's bruise from the car accident.

Dawn finds out that Terry will need to re-learn basic human skills such as drinking and it's too early to say how effective the drugs are. Bob says to Viv that it would be best if Terry died so that Dawn could have a better life instead of having to take care of him but his daughter overhears this and she now wants nothing to do with her dad. Lisa breaks up with Eddie a second time. Elaine - with her parents help - plan on getting a new car and perhaps buy Robert's current one but when the couple test-drives it, Elaine's missing memory pieces (or at least some of them...

Zak have been released but is to be psychiatrically examined though. The dog that Zak took away from the Dingle house in last episode is accidentally hit by a car... Eddie being the unlucky driver. Later, while comforting Lisa at the dog funeral, Shadrach sneakily grabs her ass! Dawn finds out that Terry will need physiotherapy to be able to recover and that it's very unclear how long it will take. Also, in a way to raise cash for the historical society, Chastity comes up with the idea to have a slave auction of Emmerdale men!

It's Debbie's 14th birthday and daddy Cain gives her a CD of The Stone Roses (a band she haven't even heard of) and alcohol! Zak intent on going back to South America with Rodney & Danny today and stay there indefinitely but Sam, who don't want him to leave again, puts his passport in the mailbox. Terry have been transferred to a so-called rehab stroke unit. Are Bob and Dawn putting their quarrel behind them? Also, Elaine gets another flashback.

Robert and Elaine finally have sex but she is still puzzled by the car accident. With the help of Robert's bruise, she discovers who the real driver was.

After hearing from a solicitor that he would get away with it because of lack of witnesses (which is one of the daftest technicalities I've ever heard of), Robert goes to the police and admits what he did, concerning the car accident. As predicted, the police lets him go. But it isn't over yet however because within soon, people finds out the true nature of the accident and Ronnie is understandably raging. Which could be noticed in the episode before too, Gloria is acting strangely about her work in London and it seems to have something to do with her new assistant ...

Feeling uncomfortable and pressured, Gloria says to her husband that Hillary is homosexual, which greatly amuses Eric and he invites him over for an awkward dinner. Ashley and Louise have their evening date (he managed to get someone to babysit Gabby this time) but the vicar cuts it fairly short after getting the impression that she just sees him as a friend and a good listener. Daz causes trouble again, this time he tries to get the sheep to fight each other. His mother - Denise - still hasn't come to pick him up. Elaine moves out of the house and in to Paul and ...

People get the wrong end of the stick about Ashley's and Chas' friendship and mistakes it for something more intimate. Gloria and Hillary get interrupted several times during half-intimate moments. Andy and Katie finds out that Denise was intending to have Daz stay longer than what they arranged. When trying to break into the Dingle house, Daz bumps into Debbie ... can you say double trouble?

It's Halloween and the charity-purposed slave auction takes place. Siobhan decides to carry out her fake miscarriage tomorrow. Steph finds out from Hillary about his affair with Gloria and then blackmails her about it. Also, Daz digs in Edna's garden but Denise finally comes to pick him up.

It's the day after the slave auction and we finally see Shelly again. Diane can also be seen again and she is surprised to see Ashley in the back rooms of the pub in a toga early in the morning. Having missed out on the recent developments, she's got some catching up to do. Siobhan says to Paul that she have had a miscarriage.

Katie gets a trial run at the Woolpack. Gloria and Hillary finds out that Steph have been in prison.

Steph goes to the press about Gloria's "indiscretion" and flirts with the journalist on the case. Louise babysits Gabby.

Gloria's adultery can now be read about in the paper. Marlon finds out from Tricia that she will probably come home next month and now he's got to find a place for them as Lisa says there isn't room for any more people in the Dingle house.

Steph throws her weight around at the factory and proclaims herself acting boss after persuading Eric to go home early. Gloria tells Eric that she have resigned from the parliament. Siobhan's abortion and lies comes out, triggered by a visit from a midwife.

Siobhan has an intense confrontation with Frances about the abortion. She is also unsuccessful in making up with Paul who doesn't know anymore when she have been lying to him and when she have spoken the truth, throughout their history together. After a phone call from Charity's lawyer, Marlon have agreed to let Charity use Pear Tree cottage in regards to the bail hearing after all.

Zak shows Debbie how he got free meals in Chile, which this time leads to Eddie almost getting sacked by Viv.

Charity tells Zoe one story and Cain another about who's the father of her foster and Shadrach talks to gossip journalist Derek Hickling again.

Zak finds out that Shadrach went to the press again. Daz is being held at a police-station after being caught joyriding and Andy needs to get down to Manchester to fetch him since his mother refuses to come there and pick him up herself. Scott gets an offer which he can't refuse. Also, Terry have been making big progress at the hospital and can now speak rather well.

Rodders and Danny-boy (as they are called sometimes) comes home from their South American journey and although they are empty-handed at the moment, they have cargo due to arrive tomorrow. Charity have a very uncomfortable talk with her lawyer. Denise comes to gather Daz but is told by Andy not to pick him up until she have cleaned up her act.

Rodney goes back to selling alcohol. His shipment from Chile is apparently just wine. Daz drives Robert's car.

Dawn is spiraling more out of control and dumps TJ on Viv, but not before finding out that her newborn is underweight. Emily hears about Eddie carrying around a dead mouse outside yesterday.

Nicola enlists Emily's help in getting a date. Since the whine business seems to be taking off, Rodney says to Danny that he might have to give him more authority and make him the day-to-day manager of the antique shop.

We find out that Terry is to come home for Christmas. Nicola goes on her date. Emily and Eddie have a showdown. Andy and Daz fall out over Debbie.

Eddie commits burglary.

How is Diane going to get his boyfriend to put on a pair of tights (for the medieval party)? Despite it being Jack's birthday of all days, Robert and Katie gets intimate. Nicola apologizes to Simon for her frosty behavior and they start to get along. Bob comes up with an idea on how Terry can enjoy Jack's party without being there. Also, we find out that Eddie is planning on leaving tomorrow.

It's a new day. Andy asks Robert to be his best man at the wedding and the latter accepts despite that he kissed his brother's girlfriend yesterday. As if that wasn't bad enough, Robert and Katie later have nooky. Will Eddie and Bob be able to reconcile before the former leaves the village today?

After being blackmailed for cash by Charity in the previous episode, Marlon resorts to borrowing from the Dingle family pot without asking but he doesn't manage to replace the money before it's noticed missing. Paul decides to buy Victoria Cottage but intends on living there on his own and wants Siobhan to move out. We find out that Aaron - Chas' son - is coming tomorrow to stay for the weekend. Katie tells Andy that she is going to see her dad tomorrow. Also, Diane hires Syd to fix the Woolpack roof.

Upon discovering that they don't have many other options, Tricia suggests to Marlon that they live in Pear Tree Cottage. Viv and Chas gets nasty with each other. Up at Andy and Katie's farm the party that was previously talked about having, is held. We finally find out a bit about the strange relationship and mysterious history between Ronnie and Siobhan.

Tricia tells Diane that she wants to return to her job behind the bar at the Woolpack. Bob persuades Viv to apologize to Chastity. Marlon thought Tricia would be loaded with money after having that lead role in the Bollywood movie but she informs him that she invested the money into another flick and how rich (or poor) they will be depends on how well it sells. Siobhan starts to talk to others about her father-in-law's secret way of life and Ronnie comes on to her again.

Tricia suggests to Marlon that they try for a baby. Ronnie leaves the village whilst Gloria comes back to it.

Elaine - who is still angry at her mom for keeping her in the dark about Ronnie's numerous affairs on the side for all these years - wants to move out of the family house and in to Paul and Siobhan's again. Siobhan calls Frances to come over and try and sort it out and Frances appreciates her daughter-in-law's gesture. Charity sees a fancy lawyer and finds out that although he is willing to take on her case, they stand no chance in court unless she comes up with something that can help them win.

Steph tells Alan that - with the help of Eric - she have got a booking at the B&B for a TV crew from Leeds. "They're doing something around the village and they need a base" Steph says. Alan is suspicious of Eric's involvement. As part of the long judicial process, Charity goes to court again. She claims she isn't guilty of murdering Chris. She is now forced to come back to court at a later date for a real trial. Donna tries to get a job.

Gloria manages to get hold of Steph's mugshot and plasters it up around the village. Eric confronts Gloria about it, he claims that he planned to give give her a second chance but that he's not going to now. Zak becomes angry when he finds out that Eric bought Belle dancing shoes while he was away. Also, we find out the TV crew's agenda.

Eric decides if he's going to sack Steph or not because of her jail stint and concealment of it. Also, Gloria and Eric have another conversation and there's cause for concern when she confidently says that she can't live without him.

The TV crew (apparently from a company called "True Tales TV") - that was first mentioned three episodes ago - have just arrived to start filming the plane crash anniversary documentary and Nicola looks to use this opportunity to give her cleaning firm some PR. Gloria tells Eric that she is leaving the village again but he's got some news for her as well. Rodney tells Syd (who is currently out of work and even struggling to pay the rent) that Howard Bevan is looking for a builder. Things are going off to a strange direction however after Choe gets involved.

Nicola have a bad career day. She both loses her job at the vets and doesn't get a contract that she were to have a meeting about (because she ran late for both commitments). Who will replace Nicola at the vets? Frances of course, who then quits at Eric's factory. The education authority is complaining about Daz skipping school (perhaps they don't know about his current situation). Gloria hasn't been seen for hours and the police has found blood in her and Eric's car she took off in. Eric is informed about the police investigation. Syd fails to get a deal with Mr. ...

After only one (but miserable) day at the vets, Frances quits. Daz causes trouble again, this time's committed crimes? Theft and vandalism. Andy just don't know what to do with him. The police investigation continues and for a moment it looks like they might come closer to finding Gloria as PC Haddon asks Eric to look at some CCTV footage from Harrogate station but the woman caught on camera suspected to be Gloria just turns out to be someone else.

Paddy asks Nicola to come back to the vets. She would like to go back but of course wants him to beg first. Does Paddy have a secret plan or will he just simply hope that she will come to work on time and not run cleaning business from there in the future? Daz takes off in Jack's car but it seems like he was just grabbing for attention as he drives up to Andy's farm with it. Jack involves the police but is then made a fool of when he's forced to call off the investigation as Andy walks in. Also, Frances' family are stunned after a revelation that she apparently is ...

It seems like Frances will be leaving very soon and she tries to reconcile with her son Paul. She gives him a card so that he can reach her but he just tears it apart. Ali agrees to move with his mother to Hull and Ronnie but only for her sake. Elaine is adamant to stay in Emmerdale but it proves to be difficult to find somewhere to stay. Daz has gotten Scott irritated and the latter gives Andy a hard time about it. It also appears that he haven't been managing his paper rounds properly. Those things aside, Daz steals Rodney's car and this time, the seller/businessman...

This episode take place shortly after the previous one but on the same day though. Andy and Jack picks Daz up at the police station. They find out from PC Calburn that he had already been having a YOT officer before his latest car theft. The officer also informs them that Daz will have to go to court. Elaine and Robert splits up after she finally realizes how little he cares about her. Will she ever find out that he cheated on her with Katie though? Also, the bishop visits Ashley and asks him if he's willing to take on (or "tame") a curate who is thought of being "too...

Frances and Ali leaves the village to move back in with Ronnie, in Hull, but what about Elaine? Surprisingly, ever idealistic Rodney wants to get carpentering lessons from Paul. The bishop wants to introduce the curate but Ashley doesn't come off very good. Andy, Daz and Jack have a meeting with a social worker and Darren's YOT officer.

It's a new day and Ashley as well as Betty are having hang-overs. Ashley's problems doesn't stop there though as there will have to be some changes concerning the vicarage. The bishop also wants to talk to Ashley about his drinking habits. As if it wasn't enough with yesterday, there's some excessive drinking at the pub today too. Marlon decides after all, that he will have to tell Tricia about his one-night stand with Charity. Rodney gets a carpentering lesson from Paul but it doesn't go smoothly.

Laurel decides to stop helping out with church-related errands so that she can distance herself from Ashley. It seems like Rodney has ditched his plans to learn carpentering. He's now got his sights on vine yarding... in Yorkshire. Marlon spends much of the day plucking up the courage to tell Tricia that he slept with Charity.

Cain decides to join Zak, Sam and Charity in the robbery after all. Cain comes up with the idea to have Chas do a striptease as a distraction. She agrees to it but wants 100£ up front plus a percentage of the money they manage to steal. Alan is very disappointed at Marlon for what he did, saying "He've shown a side of him I didn't know existed". From being a secret only known by very few, the affair is now outed to the public and both Marlon and Charity receives their far share of verbal bashing and Marlon almost gets a physical one from Cain, who also threatens ...

Cain, Zak, Sam and Chas carries out the planned robbery and sure enough, they manage to get to the safe and Chas doesn't even have to strip but there's one problem... the safe has been changed.

Scott is in a very angry mood. He have found out that Jean won't come home to Christmas but will instead spend it in Florida with mom Zoe and he have noticed that the safe has been stolen from the haulage yard and is afraid that Zoe will hold him responsible. He's suspecting the Dingles and throws around accusations and insults on them during the day. He even comes around their homestead, forcing them to hide the safe so he won't see it. They decide that it's too dangerous to store the safe in the house so they persuade Chas to help them hide it in the Woolpack! Also,...

It's Christmas and Terry comes home from the rehabilitation unit, but possibly only for the day though as he's not sure he wants to go back to his normal life for real yet. It appears that Shadrach have been hiding in the Dingle barn for some time and he apparently noticed Charity hide the stolen money somewhere in there. When the police come around to search, he tips the police to search the outbuilding!

The episode continues shortly after where the previous one ended. The coppers raid the barn but doesn't find the money. Shadrach comes with lame explanations to his family (who of course are suspicious of him because of his advice to the police). They can only sigh and try to keep him in their eyesight. He later sneaks into the house alone but doesn't get privacy for long, he gets caught red-handed with Charity's money and receives a bashing from brother Zak. The Dingles will probably just give him another chance, and another, and another...

Dawn starts looking for airline tickets after Terry suggests that she take a break and go see her mom in Spain. He reminds her that Jean Hope still haven't met her grandson. Although she's reluctant to go because of Terry's lonely condition, she at the same time looks forward to being able to rest.

Gordon comes and picks Aaron up prematurely after the kid got through a message to his dad that he wants to come home. Chas thinks that Gordon has managed to turn Aaron against her. Marlon do a deal with Scott to buy the Marsden place so he can get away from Charity, making the chance of Tricia coming back a bit bigger. It looks as if Marlon is just wasting his money though because Tricia have had the last straw and plans on leaving the village tomorrow after finding out that Steph tried to get Marlon all these months ago and that he has kept it a secret from her. Marlon - with Paddy's help - moves out of Pear Tree Cottage and into Holdgate Farm but as figured, it doesn't bring Tricia back. The weather is intense and Diane reads from a newspaper that a storm is predicted to arrive. If the prediction is right then Betty is a lucky lady as she is flying to Australia tonight. Andy and Katie finds out that Daz has been accepted at a school in Hotten but Andy later gets angry at him again and grounds him after he doesn't come home in time for a meeting with the social worker. Marlon compiles a list of 101 things he loves about Tricia and is determined to give it to her before she leaves the village for good. At Charity's new bail hearing, she faints and it's discovered that she is pregnant. After another unsuccessful reconciliation attempt with Eric, Gloria heads back to London.

Daz gives away his game console to an ungrateful Debbie. Danny moves up in the business world and makes an arrangement with Rodney to get 15% of what they sell, instead of having a regular salary.

Marlon is blackmailed by Charity for cash so that she can pay for a lawyer. Paul and Ronnie fall out over Siobhan.
