A beautiful and desperate women brings murder and treachery into Crane's life. The smuggler learns the hard way just how dangerous such a combination can be.

When his friend's son fails to arrive home from school, Crane and Orlando follows a trail that leads to death and heartbreak for his group of friends.

Despite his reservations to do so, Crane allows himself to become involved in getting a man out of prison - unfortunately for all concerned, the man is very nasty piece of work - and Crane nearly gets killed in the attempt.

Faced with bringing The Venda gang - a ruthless bunch of killers - the justice, Colonel Mahmoud seeks Crane's help, and all hell breaks lose on the Morocco streets.

The brother of a murdered man becomes suspicious when he's told that Crane was the last person to see his brother alive. So does Colonel Mahmoud - and that spells trouble for Crane.

Mahmoud and Crane share an uneasy alliance. The policeman must solve a baffling case, and Crane is asked to keep a strange rendezvous - a meeting from which he may not return.

Orlando is suspected of murder. That night he left Crane's café after a quarrel, and the following morning he was found on the beach with blood on his hands.

A killer lies hidden in Casablanca. The police are on his trial - and so is Crane who, after receiving a strange invitation, finds himself with mortal danger.

Crane finds himself up against a group of a thieves who have decided that the only way to stop Crane clearing an innocent man's name is to have shot on sight.
