Having survived a run-in with a yokel, whose tractor was blocking their way, the Chuckle Brothers finally tow their caravan into what they believe to be a camp-site and get very wet in their efforts to wash the 'van. The yokel keeps appearing and shouting at them. They really should have listened to what he was trying to tell them.

Having accidentally caught a bank robber and received a reward for it, Barry and Paul decide there is money to be had in making citizen's arrests. They go after a man seen climbing a ladder and going in through an open window, knock him out, tie him up and call the police. It goes without saying that he is the house owner who has locked himself out. And he IS the police.

The Chuckle Brothers are having little luck selling toy balloons so, when Barry accidentally buys a hot air balloon, Paul suggests they go into the travel business, giving balloon rides. They test the balloon first but, after a run-in with a jumbo jet,get into a spin, almost fall out of the basket and finally land in the middle of nowhere.

Whilst still on the caravan holiday, Barry gets a call from the Duck Watchers Association, of which he is a member. A cash prize will be given the person who photographs the rarely-seen yellow-backed botty wiggler and Barry is up at the crack of dawn with his camera. Needless to say, greedy Paul wants a share and follows him but their efforts, involving a decoy duck hat and a boat that sinks, are initially unproductive. An irate old man telling them they are on private land is no help either. Then, the duck is spotted and the photo taken,but a surprise awaits them ...

The Chuckle Brothers are having a lazy day in their caravan on a camp site, during which time Barry mends the ChuckleMobile and discovers why hot dogs are so named and Paul has an unsuccessful attempt at making ice cream. They settle down to watch television, but the reception is poor and Barry is sent onto the roof to adjust the aerial, a recipe for disaster if ever there was one.

Baby-sitting little Tommy Russell, Paul and Barry break a cup, which they mend with treacle. Appreciating that they are idiots, Tommy comes downstairs and plays pranks on them, setting them off against each other. However they need nobody's help to stick themselves to the kitchen chairs when the treacle gets out of hand.

The Chuckle Brothers are at No Slacking's gym when they hear that Terrible Trevor will be unable to make it for his wrestling match against Big Bad Brian. Paul initially volunteers Barry as a substitute but then he hears that thousands of pounds will be paid to the winner and, mistaking Brian's little manager for the fighter himself because he is wearing the jacket with Brian's name on, steps into the ring. And very quickly out again when Brian makes his entrance.

Having heard on the radio that a reward will be offered to the finder of the lost Ancient Emperor's Ceremonial Underpants, Barry sees a gypsy caravan and wants his fortune told. Paul has fun with him by dressing up as the fortune teller and foreseeing a journey of ups and downs - a rollercoaster ride,as it turns out - and much money. Paul finds a pair of old pants,which he doctors to resemble the Emperor's Underpants but they turn out to be the real thing and Barry gets his reward - just as foretold!

Paul has written a song and performed it on a tape which he hopes will be played on Radio FM, but the D.J. tells him it isn't policy to play tapes submitted by the public and evicts the brothers. Paul makes several attempts to get back into the studio, finally succeeding, but when the tape is eventually played over the air-waves, it is not what he was expecting.

Paul wins a newspaper contest for naming seventeen different fruits.It is a day at Bedsite Manor, sampling the high life, with a butler called Crossley. However, the brothers manage to break a Ming vase, destroy an eighteenth century painting and disrupt proceedings on the croquet lawn before they discover that the prize is not exactly what they had imagined.

Clearing out a caravan, Barry and Paul find a picture of a horse and decide to visit Dan the Van's racing stable. Seeing a small lad with his arm in a sling Paul decides that a substitute jockey is needed to ride the winner for Dan and volunteers Barry, whom he puts through training. Come the day of the race though and they are in for a surprise.

Paul and Barry believe that they are phoning up for tickets to the circus but they have dialled the wrong number and have contacted two spies who are selling secret information, hidden beneath a park bench. When the spies realise their error they pursue the brothers, who adopt various disguises before handing the spies to the police - and then going to the circus.

The Chuckle Brothers are having very little success in selling their paintings until they call on a sweet old lady who wants to buy three of them. They start to mount one of them on the wall but knock a big hole in the plaster, so they have to keep stalling the old lady whilst they re-plaster and re-paint that particular section of the wall. Ultimately they end up re-decorating the entire room.

Spooks and Gardens

When the ChuckleMobile gets a flat tyre late at night and far from home the brothers take refuge in an old dark house, which spooks Barry. Paul goes through a door into a beautiful garden where an ultra-polite butler, who is Barry's double, tells him that all wishes come true. Paul, however, laments the lack of humour and comes back through the door, falling over. He then comes to see that he had fallen down and hit his head and imagined his whole visit to the garden.

Minibus Madness
S05E15 · Minibus Madness

The Chuckle Brothers apply to be bus drivers for the Happy Valley bus company, but have to supply their own bus, which they get from a scrapyard, and prove to Inspector Happy that they have enough passengers to be viable. They fill the bus up, first with hitch-hikers, and then scarecrows, so that Happy gets a shock when he gets on board to present a cheque to the fiftieth passenger and 'his' arm comes away in his hand.
