Co-Creator Bernie Su and guest star Tony Noto give audience members the opportunity to design Tony's character for an upcoming episode. Audience members ask Bernie and the team questions about the upcoming season and give Tony's character a name, quirks, and a personality.

In the season premiere of Artificial: Factions, TV personality Blake Bloom introduces a competition between Zander and Sebastian and their two competing AI factions--Team Nova, led by the hyperactive AI Ember, and Team Ouroboros, led by the sleek AI Kai. Audience members are invited to join factions and help design their team's strategy to victory.

After Dr. Ruby reveals that one of the AIs will die at the end of the competition, the AIs grapple with their mortality. Blake introduces Tex, a momma's boy and black market enthusiast, who's willing to join one of the factions. Marcus faces new challenges as Zander's second-in-command.

Audience members join the Artificial Showrunners and create multiple characters for the rest of season 4.

Zander and Sebastian attempt to teach their AIs conflict resolution, but their efforts to imbue leadership are thrown by the arrival of Sebastian's sister--and Zander's ex--Celeste. Meanwhile, Tex and Ruby go on a date, despite interruptions from their teammates.

A new arrival tests the AI's faith in each other--and in their faction members. Celeste and Sebastian try to navigate their relationship as teammates and siblings. Celeste and Zander make a decision about their relationship.

In this special Halloween episode, Otaku Pepper (Mari Takahashi/AtomicMari) teaches the AIs to trust their intuition and tap into the universe for clues. Mari even offers up potential psychic powers to help them with the final heist. Kira (Alejandra Reynoso) offers to help find Blake's (Brooke Eyler) missing sister, while Ruby (Jennifer Field) questions the intentions of the mysterious host. Marcus (Micheal Marcelio) learns something unsavory about Zander (Dante Basco) and his plans for Team Ouroboros.

Blake (Brooke Eyler) is thrown by the arrival of her sister, Noel (Meghan Camarena/Strawburry17)--a demolitions expert, safecracker, and master of disguise. Ruby (Jennifer Field) ensures that more of Blake's past comes to light. Kira (Alejandra Reynoso) and Marcus (Micheal Marcelio) struggle with the implications of their actions. The AIs face the upcoming reality of the final heist.

Everything culminates in the season finale, where the two AIs must lead their teams in a race to capture the Ore--or be shutdown, permanently. As Kira, Noel, and Ruby face new challenges in the heist, Ember and Kai must make difficult decisions.
