Lady Penelope invites Jeff Tracy for a vacation on her Australian ranch. Jeff reluctantly agrees and leaves Scott in command of International Rescue, after getting an update from John that a World Navy exercise is taking place in the Atlantic Ocean. This exercise involves warning a nearby mid-ocean drilling rig, the Seascape, whose crew chief, Frank Hooper, isn't pleased that the exercise involves firing nuclear warheads underwater. A tree-logging machine is out of control in South America and it's about as easy to stop it as it is to win a guerrilla war. Can International Rescue stop the thing before it reaches a dam construction site?

A plane designed by Brains is hijacked with Lady Penelope on board. International Rescue are contacted and must diffuse a tense situation and ensure that the plane somehow lands safely.

A critical piece of a solar power station is destroyed in a storm. Now a town is threatened by uncontrolled heat from the sun. The International Rescue team must find a way to shut the system down before the whole town is destroyed.

A pirate radio station in orbit suffers a malfunction and begins to crash back to Earth - International rescue must save the disc jockey on board and try to stop the craft from landing in a populated area.

On Christmas Eve, two crooks break into the Second National Bank in New York. When the alarm is raised, they flee the crime scene and stow away inside a rocket which is delivering presents to a local children's hospital. One of those presents is an invitation to be a guest at Tracy Island for Christmas.
