Paul and Lauren have dinner at Gina's. When she sees Evan, Lauren tells Paul she's tired and wants to go home. They leave. Nina asks Philip for help. She tells him about her stolen baby. Faren tells Andy she's pregnant.

Evan arrives at Williams and Richards Investigation. Amy tells him than Andy just left. Evan says he'll wait. When Andy calls, Evan insists he wants to see him as soon as possible. Andy agrees to come back to the office.

Andy tells Paul about Evan's visit. Later, Andy introduces Paul to Evan. Evan explains he's from Pittsburgh. Faren is actually Michelle and they have a daughter together.

Paul tells Lauren and JoAnna what he learned from Evan. Faren shows Andy what she bought for the baby.

Ashley tells Doctor Lassiter that her baby is dead. Nikki thinks she's very ill. She cries in front of Victoria who reports the event to her father. Paul and Lauren discuss Faren who loves Andy but doesn't remember she had an husband and a child before coming to Genoa City. Evan calls Faren and says "Michelle". Faren answers it's a mistake and puts the phone down.

Paul and Lauren talk about Faren. Doctor Lassiter is in Genoa City. After talking to the Abbotts, he pays Ashley a visit. Faren tells Andy that Evan loves Michelle and she's not that woman anymore. Mary and Carl talk about their son and Lauren's future. Evan comes to Faren's place and shows pictures to her.

Andy's upset when he enters the office. He tells Paul and Amy that Evan wants his wife back. Paul and Amy comfort him. Andy goes back to his apartment, but when he arrives there, he sees Faren in Evan's arms.

After seeing Faren in Evan's arms, Andy goes back to the office. Paul and Amy comfort him and tell him that Faren loves him.

At his place, Andy tells Paul that Faren isn't there. Paul advises him to fight for his wife. Nikki tells Julia that she's very ill.

Nikki has a meeting with Doctor Lassiter. She introduces herself as Ashley's friend but Doctor Lassiter says that Ashley has never mentioned her name. Mary gives Lauren a hard time. She says that Paul wants to have children. Ashley calls Jack and says she would like to see him.

After waiting for a very long time with Paul and Lauren, Andy is at last allowed to see Faren. He tells his friends to go back home; he wants to be alone with his wife. Later, he tells Faren that she lost the baby. In Pittsburg, Evan gets a call and learns that Faren is in the hospital.

Paul and Lauren have dinner at Carl and Mary's place. They are planning Paul and Lauren upcoming wedding.

Mary pays Paul a visit. He wants to know what she's hiding from him. She fears that his marriage to Lauren doesn't bring everything he's hoping for, especially a family. Paul asks Mary to believe in him.

Faren is released from the hospital. She's happy to be back home. Mary calls Lauren but Lauren doesn't want to talk and puts the phone down. Later, Mary arrives at her son's place and asks Lauren to open the door.

Ashley is back at Jabot, as a visitor. Carol, Jack and John are happy to see her.

Lauren tells Paul she's ready to be his wife again. Paul thinks they should break up.

Paul and Lauren break up. Before Lauren leaves, Paul tells her he'll never stop loving her.

Paul tells Amy that he and Lauren broke up. Lauren arrives at her mother's place and explains what just has happened with Paul. JoAnna pays Paul a visit. He explains that he wants to have children and Lauren doesn't. JoAnna points out that he loves Lauren and Lauren loves him.

Paul confides in Amy. Then, he says he'll pay his mother a visit to tell her what happened between Lauren and him.

Paul tells Mary that nothing means more than being free for Lauren, whereas he wanted to start a family, that's why he and Lauren broke up. When Paul goes back to his office, Lauren is there waiting for him.

Douglas is back to Genoa. Mary tells Carl that Paul and Lauren broke up. She adds it was their son's idea. Casey gets great news about Nikki's health.

He says Faren told him nothing because he would have tried to stop her to go to Pittsburgh, and she will be home tonight. In Pittsburgh, Janet recognize Michelle/Faren. She's not happy she's back, but she allows her to see Betsy.

Evan learns from Janet and Betsy that Faren is in Pittsburgh. He decides to pay her a visit in her hotel room.

Faren is alone in her hotel room. She has more memories of her wedding with Evan. Andy is upset that Faren hasn't come back home yet. Paul is there for him. Lauren gets a call from her father. He would like to have dinner with her tonight, but she says she'll see him tomorrow instead. Later, while Lauren and Brad are kissing, JoAnna enters the room.

Nina and Danny are told that Cricket and Danny are engaged. Paul gives Amy and Nathan an update about Faren and Andy. Faren is back home. She's surprised to find Andy in their apartment.

Lauren gets a call. She's told that her father had a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital. Later, a doctor explains that everything was done to save Neil Fenmore to no avail. He's dead. Nikki and Ashley are arguing when Steven enters the office.

Lauren wakes up. Paul is in her suite. He didn't want her to be alone after the death of her father so he spent the night here.

Recently, Jack has continued to distrust Brad, while Steven wasn't aware that Leanna is on her way to Genoa City. Also, Jill warned Nina not to tell Phillip about the baby. In adddition, Joanna was surprised when Lauren decides to run the department store at her father's request. Finally, Danny and Cricket agree to remain friends.

Andy and Farren are in Pittsburgh. Paul offers flowers to Lauren for her first day at Fenmore's.

John Abbott congratulates Brad on his good job. He adds he's like a son for him. Later, Brad hears Jack and Lauren's talk. Jack would like Lauren to seduce Brad. That would get Brad out of Jabot and out of the Abbott family. Evan's still in love with his wife. He doesn't want to divorce. Janet threatens Faren with a gun. Evan arrives. Janet doesn't listen to him. She shoots. Andy wonders what Faren will decide. Paul tries to reassure him.

Evan is shot. He dies in the hospital after saying goodbye to his little girl.

Andy tells Amy that Evan is dead.
