Peter rushes to help a cow struggling to give birth. Joanne and her three-year-old son Jack bring in their kitten Jasmine who they think has been hit in a road accident and has a badly broken leg.

Julian treats Echo, a seriously ill llama who isn't breathing well. After the tricky job of conducting his first llama chest X-rays, Julian can see there's fluid in Echo's lungs. Walter the pug has a painful knee problem.

Peter tries to save a cow that has suffered a huge prolapse after giving birth. Matt and David attempt surgery on a sheep with a foot infection. Julian embarks on surgery to remove a cancerous tumour from the mouth of a golden retriever.

Peter is concerned about a tawny owl whose eye he removed 18 months ago and now has a problem with the other eye. Julian helps a new mother at a local dairy farm and battles to save a litter of unborn pups back at the surgery.

Julian heads to the Taylors' farm to treat two sheep - a new mum and an expectant mum have both prolapsed. Peter heads out to see a Shetland pony called Banjo, who has a sore hoof.

A ewe in labour is rushed into the hospital and with a need for speed, Matt is prepared to deal with it in the car park. Peter meets a feisty cat who needs her claws clipping.

Peter heads to see a worried farmer whose newborn calf is unable to stand up and Matt performs delicate eye surgery on a peacock in a bird-lover's back garden.

Peter and Matt head to Cannon Hall Farm, where a reindeer has antler problems. Over at Skeldale, Peter is reunited with Oscar, a feisty cockatiel who once put a vet in hospital. Shona visits a litter of puppies on a farm.

Peter helps a pregnant ewe that is dealing with birthing complications. Julian and his team must extract several illicit items from a puppy's stomach. Matt gives Rohin a taste of exotic vetting in Cannon Hall Farm's reptile house.

At Jackie Barlow's farm, Mako the alpaca has a lump on his face that's the size of half a football. And Mako is louder than a football crowd. Matt sees a horse that has had a nasty choking episode. An elderly terrier needs eye surgery.

Julian treats a hedgehog that has been brought into the Boroughbridge practice with a badly injured leg. In Huddersfield, a farmer brings in a heavily pregnant ewe that is struggling to give birth. Peter checks on a calf he delivered.

Peter deals with a pregnant ewe who has injured herself on a piece of metal. Matt is worried that the star of the reptile house at Cannon Hill Farm, Tilly the tortoise, may need a complex operation to remove 3 eggs she's not passed.
