Criminal psychologist Krum Bonev's life is turned upside down when an unexpected guest shows up at his doorstep - his uncle, who has been missing for the past 40 years. He appears unchanged since the day he disappeared and claims he has traveled in time. Intrigued by his uncle's discovery, Krum seizes the opportunity and soon finds himself in 1979.

Determined to change the past, Krum once again crosses through the Portal into 1979. Armed with knowledge from the 21st century, he infiltrates Jana Yaneva's inner circle.

Krum gains popularity with the artistic crowd. An infatuation with a charming singer mixes up his plans. Meanwhile, Jingibi meets up with a former student of his, who is now a respected physicist at CERN. The two meet for dinner.

Krum finds about Jana's secret affair with an influential political figure. Krum's cover is jeopardized by the sudden appearance of an unexpected visitor. In 2019, Jingibi and Baraharska grow closer.

A conversation between Sava and his wife, Blaga, leads Krum to believe that the threat to Jana is much bigger than expected. The long-awaited song competition brings surprises to all. Krum ends up trapped, exposed by a civil servant.

On the day before Jana's death, Krum is forced to go back to 2019. When he later returns to 1979, he is in a race against time trying to prevent the singer's death and change his father's fate.
