J introduces herself to us as awkward and black, "two of the worst things anyone could be." She reveals her unique coping mechanism to deal her relationships, job, and overall stress.

J is annoyed by her offensive boss and co-workers. There's a new face at the office.

J ponders an approach to get her office crush to notice her - and repeatedly (and awkwardly) runs into the same woman in the hallway.

J and CeCe grow closer. J is forced to interact with co-workers. Nina's new ally is problematic.

J struggles to get through a birthday party until she meets someone new.

A frustrated J has an outburst at work. Boss Lady refers her to anger management where she runs into a familiar face.

J and Jay try to impress each other on their first "interracial" date.

J's co-worker becomes overly religious. Fred volunteers to work on a project with J.

Boss Lady treats the employees to a company dinner where J is confronted by Nina.

Nina allows her new role to go to her head and the employees suffer under her watch - on Halloween.

J and Fred both try to get J's attention as she reflects on her past relationships and unfortunate interactions with men.

It's time for J to choose between Fred and Jay.
