"Leaf of Autumn", played by Captain Ye Qiu of team Jia Shi, is the most popular character in a fictional e-sports world called "Glory". However, he is forced to retire unfairly. How will the "God of Glory" return to the arena?

Ye Qiu becomes Ye Xiu, a network manager at an internet cafe Xing Xin under Chen Guo. He joins the 10th district of Glory as Jun Moxaio and starts designing a new weapon, the Thousand Chance Umbrella.

His professional skills generate a huge interest in the amateur district in his first game. Chen Guo's best friend Tang Rou is defeated by him.

Tang Rou vows to improve her skills, while a new player Bao Zi is encouraged by Jun Moxiao as he starts challenging dungeon records.

Origins of the Umbrella are revealed. Ye Qiu meets old friends and makes new ones in Glory. Sun Xiang, the new captain of Jia Shi proves his mettle but has a long way to go.

Old friends Su Mu Cheng and Shao Tiang join Ye Qiu in Glory. Sun Xiang tries to re-build Jia Shi but can't overcome his personal feelings against Ye Qiu.

Amidst flashbacks of how other team captains were inspired by Ye Qui, Wei Cao team expels Yi Fan, who finds a new master in Glory.

Yi Fan is at training camp attempting to get better at Glory; he reaches out Lord Grim for help. Tang Rou tries to get better at the game while spending more time Chen Guo. Ye Hui gets drunk and confronts Ye Xiu at Happy Internet.

Yi Fan is happy with his change of vocation and continues playing as a Ghostblade. Guild leaders join forces under Ye Hui's direction and target Lord Grim.

Ye Xiu and Shao Tian get separated from the rest of their team, having to beat several enemies before heading back to help out. While they are running away, Tang Rou refuses to stay back in order to get her spear back from Ye Hui.

At Ye Qiu's public retirement event, Tao Xuan tells his fans that Ye Qiu retired of his own free will and turns the public opinion of Excellent Era. Ye Qiu makes a wager on a team fight against Han Wen Qing and his team, Tyranny.

At the All-Star competition, Chen Guo realizes Excellent Era fans no longer support Ye Qiu. Tiny Herb member Ying Jie and captain Jie Xi compete against each other in an exhibition match.

Yi Fan loses his match and is chastised by Ye Xiu. Tang Rou learns that Ye Xiu is Ye Qiu. Afterwards, Tang Rou is chosen as the audience challenger against professional player Li Rei of Excellent Era.

Chen Guo comes to a realization and chooses to look to the future. Sun Xiang is taunted by reporters about Ye Qiu.

Chen Guo plots o keep Ye Xiu around, worried he may leave Happy Internet Cafe. Ye Xiu thinks about his past.

Ye Xiu and Mu Cheng talk about what's needed to start a new team and Ye Xiu gets a manager after putting on an act for Chen Guo. When the newly formed guild runs into an imminent problem, Chen Guo realizes she has a lot to learn.

Ye Xiu forms the team "Happy", named after manager Chen Guo's cafe. Bo Yuan is locked in a room by Chen Guo who thinks he may be a criminal. Ye Xiu gets him to agree to manage Happy's guild for the time being.

When Ye Xiu uses Chen Guo's expensive scarf to clean, she fears that she overreacts. Chen Guo gives him money to buy new clothes and he appears in an expensive Italian suit and with a completely different personality.

Sun Xiang begins practicing in hopes of beating Ye Xiu. Qiu Fei, a disciple of Ye Xiu, thinks that Ye Xiu has made Glory about revenge and teams up in a plot with Ye Hui.

Chen Guo passes her exam and gets her manager certificate. Excellent Era loses once again and causes Mu Cheng to reflect on her past with Ye Xiu and her brother. Xiao Shi Qin of Thunderclap quits his team and joins Excellent Era.
