Jeff Clark tries valiantly to save his old plantation from a flood, keep his ex-waitress wife at home, and bail out his amoral brother-in-law who had a tendency to shoot upstate troopers.

Teenager Nancy decides to host a party for her friends; meanwhile, her father Jim, an attorney, prepares for the most important case of his career. The pressures and anxieties of first-time experiences threaten to upset the household dynamic. It's up to sensible matriarch Blanche to avert a serious family crisis.

High Man explores the pressure cooker environment of industrial executives in the corporate world. Flourishing businessman Walter receives the offer of a promotion elevating him to the vice-presidency of the company, but he soon realizes that being a man on top carries with it another set of problems which affect not only his career, but his personal relationships, too.

Attractive suburban housewife Fran Tillman's life is suddenly changed by a chance encounter with seductive sculptor Ben Cory who encourages Fran to pursue her own facility for sculpting. Her devotion to a newfound art, as well as her closeness to attractive Ben, places her marriage and family in jeopardy.

Frankie Dane is the leader of a teenage gang, the Hornets. The gang makes trouble for people in the neighborhood, but Frankie carries a darker nature, one so filled with anger that murder is not beyond him. Ben Wagner, a social worker, tries to help the boys see the possibilities of a better life, but the task seems futile. When a neighborhood man turns one of the gang into the police, Frankie decides to kill him. Ben learns of the plot from Frankie's kid brother and hopes to stop it before Frankie ruins his life forever.
