The kids are excited to be left home alone, but is it as easy as it seems?

Still without Mike and Gina, the children soon realise that they are unable to fend for themselves and end up turning against each other. Having spent all of their money, the residents face starvation with the fridge devoured of all its contents. and Elektra takes charge, and will do anything to get what she wants.

When her dad's pregnant girlfriend moves into their flat, Lily rebels, telling Mike she wants to come back to the Dumping Ground.

Jody seems happy to be back with her family, but Carmen soon discovers she lives in fear of her brother and plots a rescue mission. Meanwhile, Gus teaches Tyler Morse-Code, been as Tyler hasn't got a phone.

A couple comes forward wanting to foster Gus, but Gus isn't too keen on the idea. But when the others find out the couple are two women, it causes friction after Johnny makes some controversial comments about gay fostering.

Wicked whispers fly when the police come to see Faith, who will not say why. And new girl Floss wonders where on earth she has been dumped.

After bad exam results, Frank denounces school and gets himself a job in a cafe. There, he falls for the waitress, Jade, who introduces him to a psychic. Is he being taken for a ride?

Rick's dad turns up full of promises about a happy family future. But is he still a con man at heart? Meanwhile, Gina's mum, Hattie, turns up and Tee thinks that Mike wants Hattie in a home. Not knowing that Hattie has dementia.

It is the day of the Dumping Ground's annual day out and the Young People get to be Edwardians for the day. However, the day is not fun when Johnny is in charge.

Mo is the Dumping Ground's quirky new resident and everyone thinks he's extremely odd, especially Tyler who he must share with. So Tee decides to take Mo under her wing with inevitable consequences as Mo pushes her to the limit.

When a big practical joke backfires, Tyler decides it is time that he grew up. But Elektra seeking for revenge after being victim to Tyler's prank, starts to bully Tyler. Meanwhile, Lily, Carmen and Tee fall out at an unsupervised sleepover at Lily's flat. Have they grown apart?

Carmen meets a fabulous girl named Esme in a shoe shop. But when Esme asks something impossible of Carmen, will she do it? Or will she stay at Elm Tree House and uncover the problem going on there?

A face from the past comes back to haunt Faith and brings danger to the Dumping Ground. And Mo buys a 'magic' egg which unexpectedly hatches into what Johnny and Elektra believe is a venomous snake.
