Skip is offered an animation job in California but he arrives just in time for the funeral of Buddy,the man who offered him the job.

Skip's co-workers suspect he may have slept with Mrs. Winkler to get the producer job.

While hoping to score a cable TV deal for a new show, the crew finds out Dippy Duck has received 3 animation awards nominations.

Skip hires Roland's prostitute friend as the new receptionist.When it doesn't work out, he promotes her.

Aggie takes Skip to a Navy reunion in order to prove to her ex-fiancé, Captain Hubble, that she has moved on and ends up turning down his marriage proposal.

Skip is afraid to give Marty some bad news because of Marty's bad mood and at the same time Sherry Winkler can't bring herself to tell her mother that she is a horrible singer and arranges for her mother to debut at a local club instead.

Sheree Winkler asks Brooks to tutor her in math and what starts out as a tutor-tutee relationship turns into a romantic affair.

Skip tries to help Andrea finish her personal film project that she's been working on for three years, but Andrea takes offense when Skip calls it "a downer."

While the Duck Factory team speculate about a romantic connection between Skip and Andrea Mrs. Winkler dates an actor friend of Buddy who turns out to be a creep.

When he is unable to do the Dippy Duck voice, Wally decides to focus on theatre.

Brooks tries, unsuccessfully, to help his son, Bumps, to launch a stand-up comedy act and Wally warns the crew when they decide to give his conniving daughter, Wendy a job.

. For the last year Roland has let his dad believe that he is actually a dentist, but when his father comes to town he considers returning to dentistry rather than tell his father the truth. In the meantime, Skip tries to keep Dippy Duck off of a list of the 10 most violent children's programs.

When the network threatens to cancel Dippy Duck, Skip must figure out how to revamp the show.
