A straight-laced businessman, visiting San Francisco with his wife in the waxing days of the hippie scene, becomes involved with a free-spirited young woman. They are both changed by the experience.

A modern twentieth-century American dreams he is on Mt. Olympus in ancient Greece.

Bing Crosby makes a rare dramatic appearance, and his 8-year-old daughter Mary Frances makes her TV acting debut. Fading film star Charlie Castle is facing a crisis. He may lose his voice--and his career. Fascinated by Castle's predicament, photographer Phil Pearson wants to capture the 'core' of the actor on film. Pearson tags along as Castle makes the rounds, visiting his daughter, his ex-wife, and the stages where he once played starring roles.

Danny is joined by Don Rickles, singer/scuba diver John Gary and the Young Americans. Danny croons "Young and Foolish." John performs "Hawaiian Wedding Song." The Young Americans duet "Big Wide Wonderful World" with Danny.

A lady press agent battles the blackmailing publisher of a scandal sheet.

Danny and Kathy prepare to welcome the 20-year-old Rusty home from the army. There are several changes that will surprise him but Rusty has a bigger one. He's married but doesn't know how to tell his parents.

During the Battle of the Bulge, word goes out to watch for German soldiers dressed as GIs. That's when black sergeant Chris Christiansen begins wondering if the GI who befriended him is really a friend--or the enemy.

Small-time gambler Al Risko, heavily in debt to the syndicate, is ordered to collect from another loser. Finding himself a hero to a troubled youngster, Risko makes it tougher on himself by balking at the mob's assignment.

Spoofing the lavish 30's musicals, Danny is Prince Wolfgang trying to avoid a marriage mad heiress. He takes refuge in a Broadway show threatened by mobsters. Songs include "I'll Take Romance" and "My Lucky Star."

A cricket seeks to rescue a poor toymaker and his blind daughter from an exploitative miser.

Danny duets with Polly Bergen "Crawdad Song." Andy Williams performs several numbers including "Holly" and "Lonely Street." Louis and his band do "High Society Blues." Everybody sings "America the Beautiful" and God Bless America."

Four convicts are transferred to a minimum security prison for psychological rehabilitation. While the prison doctor confronts them in intense psychiatric sessions, the four cons do some meditating on the side--planning their escape.
