The Sermon on the Mount: various elements are brought to life with incredible clarity as many of the characters show the depth of meaning of Jesus's message.

The disciples continue to wrestle with Jesus' teachings on the Mount. Jesus gives them their next mission.

Jesus returns to his childhood home for the big Jewish new year celebration. His childhood friends and family are all buzzing with what they've heard about Jesus.

Two by two, the disciples carry out Jesus' mission to heal, cast out demons, and preach his words. But upon returning, they struggle with understanding what happened while Simon and Eden struggle to reconnect.

Simon remains confused by Eden. Newcomer and outcast, Veronica, desperately seeks healing. The disciples have unanswered questions. The broken cistern continues to cause city-wide problems. And Jairus faces the worst fear a human can experience.

Andrew and Philip discover their previous mission resulted in devastation that will require a return. Simon Z is finally forced to confront his past.

Jesus and the disciples must make the dangerous journey to the Decapolis after Andrew and Philip return with news of a crisis in the area.

Jesus responds to a tense situation in the Decapolis, an area of Israel where Jews live with Greeks, Arabians, and Nabateans and where His followers' teachings have roused everyone to confusion and fury. He travels there and is quickly challenged by all kinds of religious and political problems. He begins to deal with them, as He will always deal with our problems, and more and more people come.
