Khayrat El-Shater and the Muslim Brotherhood try to control the military institutions by carrying out a terrorist attack in Rafah, leading to the dismissal of Field Marshal Tantawi and the designation of General Abd El-Fattah el-Sisi as Minister of Defense.

Marwan and the Special Forces go on a mission to arrest terrorists in Arish. The Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood proposes reconciliation with the Salafi movement. Khayrat El-Shater asks General El-Sisi for collaboration between the army and the Brotherhood but is shocked by the latter's response.

El-Sisi restrains the Brotherhood's attempts to interfere in the army and the country's affairs. Meanwhile, Marwan discovers that a shipment of weapons is coming to Sinai, while the presidency pardons imprisoned jihadist and takfiri elements.

El-Sisi emphasizes that people are suffering due to the fuel crisis and power cuts. As demonstrations by judges and magistrates happen when Morsi dismisses the Public Attorney, he restores him to his position. Elsewhere, Mostafa installs bug devices in Israa's house.

Amy insists on emigrating with Maurice for fear of persecution by the Brotherhood. Marwan tries to reach the explosives shipment in the Alexandria Port. As the Egyptians are divided between supporters and opponents after the constitutional declaration, El-Sisi advises Morsi to think about his decisions.

The Muslim Brotherhood mobilizes a crowd to support the president's decisions. El-Shater calls for a siege of the Supreme Constitutional Court to prevent judges from objecting to the constitutional declaration. As protests gather in front of Al-Ettehadeya Palace, El-Sisi warns Morsi with a clear message.

As Marwan recognizes the buyer of the explosives, Zakaria tries to recruit Bassam. Meanwhile, thousands are mobilized in front of Al-Ettehadeya Palace, to protect legitimacy. Afterwards, journalist Al-Husseini Abo Deif is killed by an internationally prohibited bullet.

After the Port Said events, Morsi declares a state of emergency in the Suez Canal cities, which the people defy, and he fails to convince Merkel of the soundness of his decisions. Abo Ayoub is preparing for a major terrorist operation, while El-Shater tries to keep El-Sisi away from what is happening.

While El-Shater begins to form electronic committees to discredit the army and spread a rumor about the dismissal of El-Sisi, the Minister of Youth begins to lure young men to fight. El-Sisi surprises Morsi with a harsh conversational visit.

As the civil disobedience continues in the cities of the Suez Canal, the Military Intelligence Service succeeds in liquidating a terrorist cell. The American intelligence agent flees from Egypt after being monitored during a meeting with Khayrat El-Shater.

As the presidency is preparing for the Parliament's elections, demonstrations begin that reject it, while the Brotherhood hopes to win many seats in the Parliament. El-Shater is surprised by the presence of El-Sisi when he visits General Hegazy, and El-Sisi puts an end to the former's plans.

As the demonstrations and attempt to close Al-Tahrir Complex continue, the Administrative Court announces the suspension of the presidential decision to hold parliamentary elections. Meanwhile, the security services try to stop an assassination attempt and prevent the entry of weapons into Egypt.

El-Shater tries to put an end to the Minister of Petroleum's interference in the exportation of petroleum products. The security forces succeed in controlling the largest terrorist explosion in Al-Hussein before it occurs.

The State Lawsuits Authority appeals the ruling on the suspension of the parliamentary elections. Elsewhere, the General Intelligence officers monitor the visit of politician Ammar Zohdy to the Guidance Office.
