Egor and his uncle Kolya go to look for their missing parents, contact with whom was lost in the Kudymkar region. Turning to the district police officer, the heroes find out the coordinates where they recently saw, presumably, Egor's parents. Deciding not to wait for anyone, the heroes set off on a tip from the district police officer. Tanya and Nadya, students from the folklore expedition, suggest themselves with them.

New clues appear where to look for Egor's missing parents, but none of them leads to the goal. Nikolay offers to wait for the district police officer, but suddenly Tanya becomes ill, and locals begin to gather with torches to the house where the heroes decided to stay for the night.

Egor enters Murzin's house to take the keys to the house, and finds Shura sitting on a chain. Having freed the woman, he and Tanya return to the others, but along the way he meets locals who want to catch the student.

The reason for the "hunt" for Tanya becomes clear: with the help of her, they want to find gold. Trying to save the student, the heroes get out of the trap, but the girl escapes.

Egor manages to be saved, but strange things begin to happen to him. And while Nadya and Nikolay go on a date, Egor and Tanya follow Egor's visions.

Nikolay, Nadya and Murzin follow the guys. Meanwhile, Egor and Tanya are moving farther and farther north, and Egor is having seizures more and more often.

Egor is close to his main goal - saving his family. But what will he face and what price will he pay?
