Clem Cutplug has a beef with the Smiths, so he and Snuffy decide to settle it with a duel.

Snuffy wants to take Jughaid out for a bear hunt, yet before going shopping, Loweezy insists they stay home and babysit Bizzy. However, they go out anyway, taking her with them. She proceeds to be her fussy super-homemaker self,tidying up the campsite and arousing a huge hibernating bear.

Snuffy's got a bad tooth - and he's running scared of the Doctor who's trying to pull it.

Two hillbillies peek in on Snuffy's cabin and see Bizzy sleeping, and decide to kidnap her. They take her to their shack, where she goads them into cleaning and dressing up the place, but they steadfastly draw the line at taking baths, and in a "Ransom of Red Chief" turn, return her to the Smith house,paying Snuffy to take her back.

Barney helps Snuffy to try and persuade Bizzy to stop being such a demon for housework and obsession with cleanliness by showing her the fun of jumping in a well and tracking mud into the house, but she has more fun scrubbing the floor afterward.

Snuffy is left to babysit for Bizzy Buzz Buzz.

Whoever would have thought that Snuffy Smith could be a cool daddy-o ?

Snuffy goes for a stroll and ends up in a heated argument with Big Chief Seymour over who owns the land, and who's trespassing.
