"Roberto, are you gay?" Bea - his only friend - is the one who asks Roberto the question, setting off a search for identity that will end up ten years later in the Chueca neighborhood.

Roberto and his mother travel to Madrid to see some show-flats. Ten years later, at his friend Lola's party, Roberto meets Ricardo, who he is greatly attracted to.

Roberto tries to help some fans of his neighbors Javi and Pedro, members of the group "Los Pecos". Ten years later, Roberto gets a promotion despite Cova, the boss's daughter.

Roberto rewrites the sauna chapter of his book "the Meek", but his editor is not convinced by the ending. Together they set out to find for a new one; discovering what it is that Bob really wants to relate.

With Bea's help, Rata pesters Roberto to pinch his mother's jewelry. At the age of thirty, Bob meets Miguel, a guy who seems to have beamed in from another planet; they connect with one another.

The reason why Roberto's family left the village is revealed. At the age of 30, Bob and Miguel run into Lola again while she is returning from a chemotherapy session.
