Benita and David complete a cardboard house and furnish it with things from the Useful Box. Benita places animals in the house for a surprise. David takes a wooden doll for a tour of his new house and finds the animals. David pretends to be different people who help around the house; a window washer, a carpenter, a postie. David finds letters that show him how to move to different places.

Angela, Sofya and Glenn make a bed, a mountain and a house with a sheet. Sofya teaches us some Auslan hand signs to communicate messages without speaking. The presenters pack up all the dress-ups together.

Glenn and Angela introduce Henrietta and Henry the Play School mice. Angela makes a mouse from a folded up piece of paper, wool and a pop stick. Glenn dresses up as a mouse and Angela dresses up as a cat. Angela finds homes for some felt animals on a felt board.

Deborah and George make pikelets. George makes cooled pikelets into a 'Pikelet Man' using cream cheese and fruit. Deborah takes Lisa to visit Jim's house, Meeka's house and Kim's house. George shows us some children's drawings of homes and families. The presenters share and eat 'Pikelet Man'.

OUTSIDE BROADCAST: filmed at the family home of Play School's friend Angela. George and Colin go to visit Angela's house to help with some jobs. They show us the rooms of the house and then start to work on the list of jobs. The jobs include: putting covers on the doonas, polishing the table, sweeping the leaves, hanging up the washing, making banana muffins, planting out the lettuces, feeding the fish. They prepare a snack for Angela and the children.
