Her training ground was The Garry Moore Show (1958) which after seven years led to _"The Carol Burnett Show" (1967)_. Betty White began her career in television in the 1940s and had her own sitcom Life with Elizabeth (1952) and had a wide ranging career from game show host to sitcom star.
