Atul and Aditi, are left frustrated by their relatives' undesirable bits of advice at Anjali's godh bharai, eventually leaving the event. While returning home, a conversation with Parag triggers an interesting thought.

The couple soon realises multiple concerns regarding various animals on their quest. But as the couple's search comes to a halt, their friend suggests the option of adoption.

Visiting an NGO only brings bad news for them. Suddenly, they stumble upon a kitten and decides to keep it. Same time, they receive good news for which Aditi and Atul start making preparations but get greeted by unwanted trouble instead.

Aditi and Atul manage to adopt Vyanku (Dog). Having a tough time with parenting they decide to train the pets with Bhaskar's help. New changes in their family soon widespreads, bringing a lot more surprise for the two.

With unsuccessfully convincing the mothers, Atul and Aditi asks them both to choose either of the pets to take care of. Discrimination towards the pets from the neighbors makes the mothers throw a party for the pets.

The mothers, while hiding their love for the pets, decide to leave. Meanwhile, Atuls's co-worker, Rushikesh finds out about the pets. Mrs. Vyas, too, discovers that her son adores the pet. Aditi and Atul start to look for a pet sitter.

The pet sitter is soon fired for behaving irresponsibly. The couple is greeted by a good along with a bad news. However, this isn't the end of troubles for Aditi and Atul.
