A new Beginning. Anne and Bastian are not married yet, but they have moved into a new big flat in the posh Cologne neighborhood of Marienburg.

Bastian and Anne moved to their new flat in Cologne Marienburg. While going through the stuff in their moving boxes, Bastian finds a marriage certificate from Anne and his Ex Jo from Las Vegas. Bastian is shocked.

Bastians Manager Regine got an inquiry from the Cologne Book fair Lit Cologne. Bastian shall read with Christopher Waltz from the sarcastic book "Der Nazi und der Friseur" in front of a big audience.

Bastians marriage plans remain static. One evening Bastian thinks about his life while enjoying some glasses of wine. A bit drunk, Bastian sends a critical SMS, which was originally designated for his friend Hugo, to his girlfriend Anne.

Bastian gets filmed by two teenagers in front of a supermarket while saving an old lady from falling. Shortly after, the clip gets uploaded to Youtube. Bastian is not amused and takes that as an intrusion to his privacy.

Bastian's new radio show is placed ahead of the Roger Willemsen famous Jazz show. Mr. Willemsen is not happy about that and cops Bastian when he uses one of his counterfeit parking permits.

The Pastewkas haven't talked to each other for weeks. Anne and Svenja have forged a plan: The girls have sent them on a self-finding trip into the Eifel. Soon the Pastewkas are standing in the middle of a forest with their therapist Ecki.

Bastian, Hagen and Volker are still located in the Eifel but shocked after finding the dead body of therapist Ecki. Volker Pastewka has left to get help but never came back.

Bastian is starring in the Show "Stadtgespräch" aired by the cologne TV station Center.TV. In the show he announces that he could imagine being the Cologne "Tatort" Inspector.

The wedding is about to takes place. Bastian and Anne want to enjoy their last evening before the wedding with a nice DVD, but Svenja and Hagen have different plans for the evening.
