As the comedy challenge programme returns for a 2nd series, David Mitchell sets the 1st 3 challenges for three pairs of comedians, Maisie Adam and Darren Harriott, Fatiha El-Ghorri and Phil Wang and Jessica Hynes and Joe Wilkinson.

David challenges the comedians to compose a fanfare for him and to teach a group of children about the world in the "before times" - will Fatiha's spelling distract the kids from Phil's surname? Darren and Maisie invent a new martial art.

On the Outsider's 3rd day in the woods they are challenged to come up with 3 new laws for their post-apocalyptic society, invent some holistic woodland therapies and to evade two pursuing bloodhounds.

On day 4 the six comedians have their knot making skills tested as they are asked to tie each other up, they then create masterpieces out of discarded rubbish and spy on David Mitchell for their Surveillance Badge.

The competition hots up on the Outsiders' penultimate day in the woods as they are challenged to create a warrior look, sell their vision of a Utopian society to a bemused newcomer and show their military prowess firing projectile weapons.

On the Outsiders' final day in the wild. David Mitchell oversees as the pairs of comedians compete to see who can demonstrate various skills in plumbing, painting and funeral rites in their battle for the winner's trophy.
