Sub Inspector Sanket Salelkar gets the first murder investigation of his career. The case looks pretty straightforward but his sister Sarla has other news for him.

Sanket realizes he's made a big career mistake and he has no idea how Mala Coutinho died, forget who killed her. Sanket enlists Sarla to help with the case and together they discover their first clue, a possible new murder weapon?

The needle of suspicion turns to Mala's daughter, Shalini. However, the truth is shrouded in different versions of the same incident. A new lead turns up with new information about Mala's life but the cause of death remains elusive.

Sanket discovers the truth about Mala and Vishwas while Ignatius and Shalini continue to withhold information. A missing jewelry piece brings a new suspect and Sanket lays a trap hoping that the killer reveals themselves.
