The Norwegian Epic is the latest in a line of modern cruise ships. This episode we see the ship loading a new set of passengers and supplies in Miami for a 7 day cruise around the Carribean.

The North Star is a roll-on/roll-off ship that delivers cargo from Tacoma, Washington to Anchorage, Alaksa within 72 hours through one of the most dangerous shipping routes.

The Le Boreal is on her maiden voyage as an expedition cruise ship. For 15 days the passengers are treated to a combination of fine dining and exploring the amazing environment of Antarctica.

Maersk Peregrino, a former super tanker has been converted to a stationary oil offloading unit. The crew's job is to position the vessel over a series of feeder pipes from off shore oil rigs and hook the vessel into its final position.

Umiak I is the most powerful ice-breaking bulk carrier in the world, and she has to be in order to survive the rough seas and thick ice off the eastern coast of Canada. She is the lifeline to the remote Voisey's Bay Nickel Mine in Labrador. Her job is to deliver desperately needed supplies and return home with 30,000 tons of nickel concentrate, worth over $120 million.
