In 2019 marijuana stands to become legal throughout most of the United States. There are other countries even more progressive as Uruguay and Canada take the lead in nationwide legalization. We take a moment to look at the current of affairs for medical and recreational marijuana in the states and worldwide.

With evolving bipartisan support, the Marijuana Justice Act may finally be at least an attempt at righting the wrongs that minorities have experienced by being singled out for selective prosecution in the war against marijuana.

Do you know what a "Cannabis Social Equity Grant" is? Well, you are not alone. This California program has $10 million dollars set aside for programs designed to increase minorities and those most affected by the war on drugs in the cannabis industry. Implementation is reportedly particularly bad in Los Angeles.
