María Rosa is drooling over Rafael, her charming boss, who doesn't notice her at all. Meanwhile Veronica, Rafael' latest fling pushes for a marriage but unsuccessfully. Miguel, a former convict is released from prison and goes to his partner, Eva, who lives humbly with her daughter Cristina.

Rafael orders María Rosa to find him a wife and she decides to place an add in the papers. Eva asks Miguel to get a job. Hernán isn't happy with Yolanda' constant dalliance.

María Rosa is busy selecting the perfect wife for Rafael. Yolanda gets a job as a waitress while her father asks Rafael to give her a position at the firm. Miguel catches up with his old friend, Fidel, who has an important news for him. Federico pines for María Rosa and Ana tries to discourage him.

María Rosa continues to select unsuitable women for Rafael. Instead of doing her job, Yolanda flirts with Mario and parties at the bar. Miguel urges Eva to contact Rafael.

María Rosa resumes with her plan to scare off the candidates and tries to be more seductive. Rafael doesn't seem to be able to pick his perfect future bride. Yolanda has an idea to raise the money she owes Fidel.

María Rosa gets Libia' cousin to replace her while she's away. Federico prepares for the karaoke contest at the bar. Yolanda convinces María Rosa to get more people to attend the contest. Eva puts on a little black dress and makes an appearance at Rafael' office.

María Rosa is confused when learning that Libia' cousin and her replacement was eventually a former girlfriend of her boss. After the karaoke contest, Rafael takes María Rosa, her family and friends to party at his house. Miguel won't let Eva have her way.

An innocent mix-up with the luggage at the airport gives María Rosa and Yolanda the opportunity to meet Martín. Eva starts work and plays kind and efficient in front of Rafael, whereas with her colleagues she acts superior. Ana looks after Hernán while the girls are away but her cleaning gets her in trouble.

María Rosa tries to enjoy her vacation although her thoughts are consumed with her boss and her replacement. Eva becomes Rafael' secretary and she quickly gets under his skin but acts mighty superior with her colleagues. Miguel is satisfied with Eva' job position and thinks that her future would settle them all quite nicely.

María Rosa decides to have fun on her vacation while Rafael and Eva become an item. Federico takes Libia to stay at María Rosa' house and is shocked to see his mother dressed provocatively. Miguel sells some kitchen supplies to raise money and has a business offer for Fidel.

Rafael proposes to Eva and Héctor finds this action pure madness. María Rosa turns down Martín. Libia and Ana compete in looking after Hernán.

María Rosa returns early and wonders whether her boss got already married. Eva invites Rafael at her place for dinner. Ana tips Libia' husband on his wife whereabouts. Miguel encounters Mario.
