Two children are assigned to join Gramps and Andy the robot in Habiviron Jo-Y. The boy is soon nicknamed 'Brat' and the girl 'Luna' (since she was batched on the moon). But when Luna misplaces her egothenticty card, she faces obliviation.

Brat tries to sell Andy to a traveling Clunkman and Luna takes pity on the man's mistreated alien, Jazzmine.

Galactic Coordinator 2B2B gives all the sector Jo-Y inhabitants a culture pack to brush up their culture. When Andy claims to be a Culturoid, he must prove he can recite Shakespeare at a concert or be deactivated.

Luna's Batch change is coming up and Andy proposes to have an old fashioned party. 80H forces Brat to get in shape so he can represent Sector 80 in the big Pedeospherical match against Orion United. Gramps also joins in.

The Jo-Y co-inhabitants decide to take a Vacatocks (holiday), which is OK by 80H because he doesn't want the Asst. Galactic Co-ordinator to find their alien Sim.
Feb 26, 1983
80H has had enough of Brat's pranks and orders Jazzmine out of Jo-Y and Gramps into the Senior Pater Colony. Luna decides to leave with Jazzmine and begins searching for her real parents.
