Mamiya Hibiki, a car mechanic, was supposed to propose to his girlfriend, Kurumi, but on that day, he was involved in a mysterious tunnel collapse accident. Few days later, he gets out of the tunnel but faces terrifying "living corpses" which become aggravated at night and attack humans searching for their blood. Hibiki wants to save Kurumi and survive.

Hibiki and others who speculated that Kurumi was rescued by the Self-Defense Forces decided to go to the garrison.

Hibiki and Hongo, who died after being shot suddenly from the Self-Defense Forces station, which was supposed to be an evacuation center, aim for Yokohama outside the blockade area in the extreme state of the absence of a leader. Meanwhile, evacuated to a huge shopping mall - There were new survivors. A mysterious beauty is seeking help, but behind that - a mysterious group armed with a sword. On the other hand, Kurumi jumps out of the camp to find your beloved partner, Hibiki.

Kurumi lets her guard down when she and the SDF arrive at the mall. Hibiki's captors require his skills as a mechanic, giving him a chance to escape.

Todoroki gives Kurumi some shocking and deceptive information. Hibiki and Min-jun run into Shoko's husband while seeking asthma medication for Yuzuki.

Shuto's influence grows as the vaccine takes full priority. Hibiki's group finds other survivors on the island and plans to infiltrate the garrison.

After making a shocking discovery, Hibiki learns about the origin of the virus. Kurumi's mental state suffers due to Shuto's manipulation.

While lamenting their fallen friend, Hibiki and his group plan to defend the island. The SDF recruits the refugees to help find a safer location.

Tensions flare as the survivors blame each other for recent deaths and attacks. Kuwata escapes the garrison after questioning Shuto's narrative.

While Hibiki struggles with the pain of Kurumi's choice, his group learns of the "House of Hope" - an apparent shelter with food and medicine.
