Lily (Phoebe Cates) try's to learn about her mother, and tries to find out who she is. Also she gives an interview providing backstory to the film. Also in this episode Lily does something to each of the women's life's to affect them. And ends right where episode 2 starts.

Episode two picks up where episode one left off. And it then has flashbacks about each of the characters in the movie. It then picks up back for the conclusion. At the end all is revealed to Lily, and she now knows who her mom is.
