While jogging I the local wood, Robbe discovers a contractor is preparing to cut it down. For father Williams protesting is a good exercise in his assertiveness course, but the mayor simply refers to the officially approved plans. Robbe, Ellis and Kosmoo investigate and soon suspect a conspiracy, so the must prove the mayor is being bribed.

Markus expected to earn easy money as medicine guinea pig, but when told about possible side effects, imagines having them all. Robbe duly laughs away Ellis's paranormal investigations, but when her kid nephew Floris goes missing during a nocturnal mission in the abandoned plant, takes Kosmo on a search and rescue mission. Robbe finds the kid hanging in real trouble and the presumed supernatural danger actually as helpful as biological.

The Williams family goes on holiday in a wood cabin. While Robbe plans to investigate a nearby cave with Kosmo, Ellin stays in his room 'to do homework', sending her father (Walter Baele) to the shop. A bumbling pair of Dutch robbers seeks refuge in the cabin, spots Robbe talking to Kosmo, guesses they're on to them and locks the whole family in, the dog in the shed. Time to use bionic powers to break out and stop the fiends' rescue helicopter.

While Markus tries to train himself for shrimp fishing, Robbe proudly collects his prize in the school lottery: a free try at fire department training, although it proves scarier then expected. Kosmo can't come along, but becomes the secret weapon outside with Ellin when the town is hit by an arson wave, ascribed to a pyromaniac. Robbe finds evidence the culprit must be inside the FD, so he checks out individual suspects.

Robbe has a part-time job in a video games rental shop, enjoying the boss's full confidence. The boss and the police ignore his warnings about a suspiciously behaved nosy customer. When the game they were allowed to pre-launch exclusively gets stolen by robbers, Robbe is arrested a sole suspect, given he had the key. Kosmo observed that his original suspect made a key copy, so he must be exposed to free Robbe.

Markus tries exercising as would-be mounted shrimp fisher, without a mount, except Kosmo. Two clumsy robbers saw their loot jewelry swallowed by the owner's pooch, which escapes them. Robbe finds it and brings it home on the boat, as a playmate for Kosmo. While team Robbe works out the truth, having met the dog's kid owner after posting posters, Markus has already 'returned' it to the thieves.

Markus tries to catch up with numerous repair jobs he never finished at home, as practice for his ambition to become handyman, starting with the uneven-legged table. The klutz's competent brother Marcel, who runs a manege, invites Robbe to attend his daughter's latest tournament at home, but her mare Lady throws her off. Robbe suspects foul play and focuses on her ex Jasper, who thus dumps his main competitor. More incidents confirm it's an inside job, but he nor Kosmo can find proof against smug Jasper, so Ellis may be right to watch others, like stable-hand Leo.

While Ellis keeps a cockroach 'like a pet', Zeezicht suffers a crime wave of robberies, including a mask from her parents' home. The only common factor is each victim homes recently had pest control,f albeit from several firms. Robbe pretends he's studying the branch for a school assignment to question a CEO and finds out each time the sweep was performed by the same man, Peter, who keeps switching employer. Examining his home leads to an unsavory discovery, requiring urgent action from Kosmo.

Markus takes a job on trial as gravedigger, except he's easily scared by Ellis's cemetery urban legends, hence decides to finish before dusk fearing to have seen a ghost, which she insists to look for. Robbe sensibly prefers to look with Kosmoo for the local pickpocket who stole from his mother. They find and trail the thief to the graveyard, where she seemingly disappears. By the time Robbe realizes pa's boss is in league with a ruthless thief who hides his loot in a mausoleum, he's overpowered and locked in a tomb.

Markus takes a 'job' selling over-priced plastic food containers, and is inspired to try the seniors in the rest home where Robbe successfully sells his school paper. Robbe finds the residents are victims of a theft wave. The kids and Kosmoo suspects a grumpy senior, the night nurse and the watchman as having opportunity. Robbe gets access to security videos and sets a trap for the conspirators.

Markus thinks he'll make a fortune selling Korean mini karaoke machines, but his sample soon breaks down. Robbe looks forward to lots of gaming having his foot in plaster, but Ellis recruits him to help with her genealogy school project, now at Kosmo's control panel, as she goes by wheelchair to the abbey where a late ancestor lived, and disappeared shortly after allegedly locating the log book to a sunken ship's treasure. While helping with a series of clues the 'mad monk' left starting with an heirloom letter, Robbe and Kosmoo save her from a greedy saboteur inside ...

Markus applied as town guide but fell through having pretended in his CV to speak Chinese, yet hopes to make up by learning Mandarin. Robbe takes flying lessons, but Kosmo isn't allowed around by the spiteful instructor, and while fellow pupil Sam(antha) kindly helps him, her boyfriend with flying phobia is as jealous of him as Ellis of her. Robbe is getting sabotaged, perhaps by the class champion who hates any competition, but that gets dangerously out of hand, and Ellis finally confesses her feelings for Robbe.
