No girl can marry into the Bundela family. On her way to get engaged to Rajbir, Isha is killed by the evil force Manjulika. Four years later, Paridhi escapes death and gets engaged to Rajbir.

Rajbir's grandmother forces Paridhi to visit the ' Hanuman Mandir' as she is aware of the presence of an evil entity inside her mansion. Meanwhile, Manjulika leaves no stone unturned in trying to seduce Rajbir and harm Paridhi.

After an interrupted dance and a fight between them, Paridhi finds out that Rajbir is influenced by black magic. Led by Rajbir to a decrepit mansion, Paridhi finally faces Manjulika.

Paridhi saves Rajbir and destroys Manjulika's hopes of killing her husband. On Paridhi's wedding night, however, Manjulika arrives to haunt her and marry Rajbir. She possesses Paridhi and takes partakes in the ceremony.

When the elders take Paridhi and Rajbir to the Hanuman temple to receive blessings, Manjulika becomes hell-bent on taking control of Paridhi. She does just that by possessing Paridhi and tries to kill Rajbir.

Paridhi and Rajbir are ready to go on their honeymoon. But with Manjulika hovering around, that is almost next to impossible. From possessing Paridhi's body, to causing her bodily injury, Manjulika is taking the fight to the next level.

Manjulika takes Paridhi and bewitches her in her quest to free her mother's soul. Years ago, the Bundela family had given Saudamini a brutal death, but now, she is free to bring Rajbir and his kin to ruins.

Manjulika's spirit continues to torment Paridhi. Meanwhile, Saudamini and Manjulika possess Saroj's and Paridhi's bodies and they start dancing to frighten Janaki who's alone at home.

Paridhi finds out that Saroj is dead and her body has been possessed by Saudamini, who has freed herself from captivity. Both Manjulika and Saudamini are thirsty for revenge.

Hira's sacred thread stops Manjulika and Saudamini from hurting the Bundela family. Saudamini visits Gurudev who asks her to bring Paridhi in order to render the 'Sindoori Dhaaga' powerless.
