Hailing from a lower class family, innocent and young Manaal is uninformed about her mother's deteriorating health. Her life is further struck with uncertainty when her father loses his job.

Grief stricken, Manaal and her father finds it difficult to make ends meet as they are asked by their landlord to find some other place.

After a series of unfortunate incidents, Manaal's aunt takes her to her house while Naila's father is unaware of her daughter's death.

Manaal finds it difficult to adjust to her new household as her new-found family is reluctant to accept her in their house.

Manaal's aunt and Liaquat finds out about Manaal's inherited wealth while Manaal is busy obliging everyone to accept her.

Manaal and Daim grow closer while Shujaat is planing to ask Manaal for marriage. Upon finding out Shujaat's feelings, Manaal takes a decision.

Manaal's grandfather finds out the truth about his daughter and son in law while Manal and Shabnam are looking for a place to stay.

Daim is worried about Manaal's future and talks to his grandfather regarding her education. Joya confesses her feelings to her mother.

Daim scolds Manaal to stop obliging everyone and that she should learn how to deal criticism. The entire family is happy on the return of Moeed from abroad except Joya.

Joya's resentment towards Moeed grows day by day while Manaal follows Daim's advice.

Rahat and Mussarat are inquisitive about the property owned by Manaal's grandfather. Manaal is eager to express her love to Daim.

Joya's engagement is fixed with Moeed but over the years Joya has developed feelings for Fahad and wants to marry him.

Joya decides to run away with Fahad while Manaal plans a birthday surprise for Daim.

Moeed tells his family that he doesn't want to marry Joya. Grandfather's ailing health makes Manaal spend time with him.

Fahad confesses his obsession towards Joya while Daim finds out about Manaal's feelings towards him.

Manaal's grandfather realizes his love for his granddaughter. He decides to find a suitable groom for Manaal and share his thoughts with Daim.

Daim supports his grandfathers's decision and asks Manaal to marry Moeed.

Unable to express her love to Daim, Manaal is disappointed.

Despite of helping Joya in eloping with Fahad, Manaal is blamed for disturbing Joya's life.

After a fight between Moeed and Shujaat, Moeed apologizes for his behavior while Bella decides to speak for Manaal's feelings.

Unable to bear the humiliation, Manaal runs away from home while grandfather is in shock.

Manaal starts living with her aunt and in efforts to acquire Manaal's wealth her aunt asks her to marry her son, Shujaat.

Unable to adjust in her new household, Manaal feels suffocated while Moeed decides to leave the country.

Manaal faces abuses and physical violence at the hands of Shujaat as he asks for her jewelry.

Shujaat's aggressive behavior continues to grow and he starts despising Shabnam and Manaal.

To acquire more money, Shujaat forces Manaal to go to her grandfather's house while Joya is pregnant.

Bella and her family faces an accident and Joya hurts herself as she wants to return to Pakistan.

Family finds out about Joya's vicious plans against Manaal while Daim supports Manaal in getting divorce from Shujaat.

Daim expresses his love and affection for Manaal as she and Bella starts going to college again.

Despite of being outsiders, Manaal and Daim discusses about the challenges and sacrifices they made for their families. The rest of the family overhears their conversation.
