Adapted from Jean Anouilh's play (1942), the drama reveals the fight between the idealist Antigone and her rigid uncle, Creon, over the proper burial of Antigone's brother, Polynices, with elliptical references to Nazi occupied France.

After the sudden and tragic death of the deputy head of a large company, his colleagues are immediately fighting for his prestigious and highly paid job, unleashing a bad succession of distasteful instincts, hypocrisy, vanity and cowardice.

Six years after breaking up, Tatiana and Kergentzev are pursuing different paths: she is married to a writer whose talent grows every day while Kergentzev is a striving scientist, and can't console himself for not being Tatiana's husband.
