The police detain Valeriya on suspicion of killing her fiancé's brother at her own wedding. The only person who believes in the girl's innocence is a young lawyer, Daniil Kramer. And investigator Grigory Plakhov has to postpone his retirement in order to find out whether a Russian girl who converted to Islam really committed a murder.

The warehouse owner finds a voice recorder and fake passports with her photos in Valeriya's cell. The guards force the girl to transport drugs to the pre-trial detention center. And Aman has to borrow a million rubles to release his wife on bail.

Valeriya's mother comes to the prison and accuses her of killing her real daughter. Aman decides to hire the famous lawyer Roman Fishman for Valeriya, and Daniil finds out who had the motive to kill Bakir.

To find money to pay for a lawyer, Aman has to ask Britogolovyy for any job. The head of the warehouse, Semyon, becomes obsessed with Valeriya's stories, which he found in the recorder. Valeriya in prison has to complete the difficult task of the leader of the prisoners.

At the upcoming trial, Valeriya must confess to Bakir's murder. On the eve of the hearing, a man from the past named Zoman calls her and says that she must fulfill his conditions if she wants to see Aman alive. Semyon notices a man from Valeriya's audio recordings at the trial and starts spying on him.

After the trial, Valeriya continues to insist that her name is Evgenia Bakunina, and she is assigned a psychiatric examination. In the prison psychiatrist, Valeriya recognizes the man who once kept her in captivity. Daniil finds a videotape that can save Valeriya.

Zoman offers Semyon to choose who will die - he or his family. Plakhov gets worse, and he decides to buy heroin. Valeriya asks the head of the prison to protect her from Zoman.

Zoman brings Valeriya to the house where she was once a prisoner. Daniil gives the investigator evidence proving Valeriya's innocence. Plakhov is on the trail of Zoman, and now everything depends on whether he manages to save the girl from the maniac.
