Alyson, a medical student, discovers her workplace, a public hospital on the outskirts, in the company of two other interns assigned to the service, Hugo and Chloé. All holders are confined to their homes following health measures. In their absence, they must take care of the sick on their own.

The seclusion of doctors has been extended until further notice, as an unidentified pathogen was detected during the autopsy of the deceased patient. Arben Bascha was immediately detached from his service to join the meager staff of internal medicine, overcome by fatigue and panic.

Wagner decides to transfer four of his patients admitted to the intensive care unit in sector 1 of internal medicine. Chloe and Doctor Bascha, who were trying to reduce the number of patients in this department, are furious. Hugo is running for the post of boarding school bursar.

Chloé, who is recovering from heart surgery, is stressing and endangering her own life. The relationship between Hugo and Alyson becomes complicated.

When a patient suddenly dies, the team ends up in shock. Hospital manager Nathalie Ferrand decides to send Arben back to the pathology department to examine the body.

Arben comes back after one of the medical assistants leaves the ward. The result of the autopsy puts Alyson, Arben, Hugo, and Chloé in a difficult position.

After Chloé has a heart attack, Professor Wagner takes care of her. Alyson and Hugo make several important discoveries at Chloé's home and Arben feels guilty for not suspecting anything.

Chloé wakes up but her behaviour is causing concern among those around her, especially Simoni. The manager reveals that everyone will be questioned by the legal department.
